If there is no visable contamination on the cake and you are sure that you have cut away ALL of the contamination, you could take a print. I wouldnt chance it though. Get your prints off of cakes that arent contaminated.

Hey fellow smurf, welcome to the shroomery. As for your contaminated cakes- i wouldnt take a spore print from any of the mushies on that cake....better safe than sorry! peace.

I don't see how the toxins from the contam on the cake could be carried to the mushrooms spore. The mold, or whatever the contam is, has to germinate before it produces contams just like the mushrooms, or mycelum, has to germinate to produce psilocybin/psilocin, you can't just eat the spores.
The mushroom spore germinates mushroom mycelum and fruits. Toxins can't be carried via spores.

Now, if you've gotten mold spores in with your spore print, your just going to end up innoculating your jars with the contam right away and there for wasting your time.
If you can, use a clean print to avoid other than mushroom spores being on the print, but to answer your question, No contams can not be carried through the mushrooms spores.
