when i smoked weed, i was very serious about not smoking while tripping to not pollute the crispness of the trip.

When the trip was over and done with, Indica to chill.

Former friends of mine smoked themselves retarded during trips and because of it were soially unavailable even on E.

It was a very negative experience for me, not them because, well, they were fucked up in their own world instead of into the group dynamic.

One of them would call me in the middle of the night scared out of his fuck because of superweed, ok buddy i'll talkdown, then after 40 minutes of that.. rolls another joint.

I use ayahuasca. So using marijuana is basically required at some point during the come up.
I prefer a fresh piece of really sticky flour. Preferably something in the Indica realm.
I get a little Buzzy. So slowing down a little with an Indica seems like the right way to go for me.
It also seems to boost the visual. But I’m sure that would work for any strain. I just prefer and in da couch strain for its more relaxing profile. Versus the sativa, which makes me more buzzy and creative.

Hasn't it been proven that the sativa/indica thing is just a myth these days?  It's just marketing

Hybrids make it blurry. Almost all strains are now a hybrid. But there is a difference.

Yes, terpenes might be a better way to market weed instead of sativa, indica, hybrid, etc.
It's not that people disagree with you, science disagrees with you.

I think the conversation about Indica versus sativa has always been about the terpene and cannabinoid profiles.

The strains are different. One of them was in the lowlands. One of them came from the mountains. They affect you differently. Everyone uses hybrids now. It’s much harder to tell the difference.

That is my opinion.
At this point, we can control what nutrients these plants get to produce a specific result or product.
Making this conversation moot.

I have a bias in this conversation I literally ran a poll
About which is preferred.
Much like this person is.

According to the article Icyurmt posted: "Terpenes are non-psychoactive organic compounds found in marijuana that play a role in the smell and flavor of each strain" 

So I don't think the conversation about indica/sativa is about terpenes, but if it is then it's not supported by science and is wrong.

The article mentioned that fact you brought up about location, and how Sour Diesel in Cali isn't the same Sour Diesel in Colorado.

If you try and grow something in bat guano. It will be completely different than if you grew it in regular soil.
It has to do with the nutrients and composition given to it.

IIRC limonene is associated with "sativa" type effects and myrcene with "indica" type effects

Those differences have nothing to do with Indica vs Sativa

I’m sure all marijuana came from an ancestor. That’s not what I’m talking about.

They were raised in the mountains. Off of different nutrients and soil compositions and air pressures. That produced Indica marijuana

In the lowlands and forests. They had different access to different nutrients. They evolved differently than the stuff that was in the mountains. That is what we call sativa.

I never claimed that they were genetically different from each other. I’m sure all marijuana is marijuana.

All that indica/sativa differences shit is placebo nonsense. When I sold weed and people asked for one or the other i lied and gave them the opposite and they loved it, blind test it yourself, you can't tell the difference

I like weed with nice terp profiles

Limonene is the main thing that makes orange oil smell like oranges, and myrcene is in mangoes and hops and some other stuff.


But there is no reason at this point to expect "sativas" to necessarily have more limonene or "indicas" to have more myrcene. Indica and sativa basically just describe phenotypes characterized by leaf and plant shape and flowering time. But the variability of terpene expression is just so vast and it can't be summed up by the sativa/indica dichotomy. And the genes that give a plant an indica or sativa leaf shape, plant shape and flowering time probably only have so much effect on terpene expression.

I’m a light smoker, always have been. I’m willing to bet that the average consumer of cannabis has smoked more gram for gram within six months or less then I have in almost 30 years of regular consumption haha
Just don’t need a lot to get to a place that I find benefits. .

I’ve tripped three times so far (the first time you can read in my sig) but cannabis , and tobacco, played a very important role in that experience.
-Cannabis has always been a very spiritual thing for me..

But since then I’ve taken half a dose with cannabis and an almost  full dose (89 g fresh tea) - the half dose with cannabis produced light  OEV but the full dose without cannabis did not.
Just that “roller coaster ascent” anxiety…though I was hiking at the time and I’m realizing I should have been stationary. It did produce some awesome complex CEV once I sat down and chilled.

Used to smoke a lot of weed now I haven't got high off it in almost a week because it's not as good as getting high off lsd or mushrooms

Usually only get high off it if I'm with somone who really likes it and I'm down

I grew old school Colombian gold landrace. It flowers like 20 weeks

Was always interested in landrace weed. It's like smoking geography and it gets me high


Something about the lsd is so much fun it reminds me of school and I really like yellow and orange. Like a path of lines waving and swirling it's exciting :mushroom2:

Also discovered roads & streets something about them is very intriguing. Trucks,  boats, air plans, trains and stuff

Somethings about the lsd is just way too good

Everything just becomes the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and never going to stop
