i was ust wondering if anybody subscribed to it? do you think it is better than high times? i dont subscribe to either but i hang around teh sites alot and from what ive read i like cannabis culture better.

Cannabis Culture is the premier marijuana smokers magazine. I think you'll find most people think very lowly of hightimes, me included. Hightimes seems like all advertising, and very little news...

Does anyone know if Cannabis Culture has those ads for that fake weed?

That's something I really don't respect about High Times. There's no reason to buy that Wizard Smoke shit other than to rip people off.

I used to have a subscription to Cannabis Culture. It's a great publication. Never been a huge fan of High Times.

Hi Learyfan,

I'm an avid fan of CC and have been a reader of their website for a couple of years. I'm pretty sure that Dana (editor) stated that CC Mags stopped all advertisements for 'fake weed' etc after issue #6 or #7 to have some credibility with their readers. Also, they trialled all the fake weed in one of their main articles (see online archives), and basically found that they were all s**t with exotic sounding names that referred to common herbs etc.

Definitely a better mag, and Mark Emery seems to be a real marijuana reform advocate.....

PS Go Canada! Can't wait to hear back re the Supreme Court challenge to constitutionality of possession laws etc

there's also a magazine called "Weed World" and one called "potheads"
I usually get all 4(HT and CC included)

So basically it's what I thought it was: Just Stuff , random plants.

Thats pretty sad. I can see why CannabisC would take that stuff out of their mags. To keep it in would just be to make fun of your readers and the culture itself.

hey, what about that "dumb stoner/ smart stoner" bullshit that the editor of high times (I can't recall his name, he was the one that toured around campuses debating the dea guy) wrote? he really sells the movement out, calling people who toke before 4:20 "dumb stoners" and uses ken kesey as an example of a "smart stoner".... I thought that it was all gay.
