It was an LC tester. I always drip my testers on one side, wrap the plate and then tilt it so the drop rolls down the to other side to create a real thin streak of liquid. Easier than zigzagging with a loop/swab :shrug:

I think I overcooked my agar, I got little bits of brown stuff in it.
Either burnt it in the PC or the MW. It was normal-looking when solid but developed a a clump of brown stuff when I re-boiled it in the MW. Shaking it seems to have just dispersed the brown stuff.

Is that normal for burnt agar or did I fuck something else up?

LME 2% no yeast or anything else.
