US Bad? The US practiced diplomacy. We've been giving them aid since they became a country. Now is the goal there to project power and influence? Sure. Is it backed by cynical capitalists hoping to find new markets to exploit? Absolutely. But it's still aid. Aid that they ask for and happily accept.

Russia's puppet got chased out of town because the people there wanted to be more connected to the west. Russia responded not with diplomacy, but by sending boots on the ground.

That's the difference.

Lol did you read that link it contradicts your claim of 100,000 of Ukraine troops it says Russia accused Ukraine of deploying half that number to the east.

Also says Russia denies it plans to invaded.

The revisionist history about this all is pretty intense. Yes, the US overthrew Poroshenko, or at least helped do so. However, he wasn't necessarily Pro Russia even if he did rebuke the NATO deal that ultimately sealed his fate.

All of this was a much needed example of the use of the US military and the like....after years, decades of being on the wrong track, this is a reminder that yes, it can be used the right way.

I think you mean Yanukovych... and there was a lot more than the US' influence at play there.

  If Ukraine had  all of those  troops on the border where the hell were they when Russia drove in basically unopposed until they had Molotov cocktails thrown at them ?

Russia continues to make the most obvious tactical mistakes you could make. Instead of falling back to a hardened defensive line and allowing enough time to rebuild enough troops and equipment which they seem to have trouble mustering anyway they've chose to keep pressure on ukraine with smaller offensive forces that aren't overwhelming enough of a surge to enable decisive offensive action to make any serious gains in the war. They also seem to be failing to protect logistical supply lines to these forward troops. Also they failed to redeploy enough troops to squash the counter offensive in kherson. Again it seems like they don't even have enough troops to proper sure up the entire front. They don't understand the concept of death by 1000 cuts. :youseethisshit:
