So it was the fuckin' Georgian legion that were the ones responsible for the sniper false flag on Maidan square back in 2014. Why am I not surprised. Oh, and they had help from some US spook piece of shit.

These are the same scumbags who have most recently been involved with the execution of Russian PoW's, murder of civilians, etc. They are not that much different than their Azov nazi brothers.

According to the article they are also Saakashvili supporters, the US/NATO puppet who dragged Georgia into an unnecessary war with Russia in 2008 on American orders. That's funny, Saakashvili has been disgraced in Georgia.. meaning these people are not even amongst the majority opinion in their homeland. They are the lowest of the low dregs of their society, idiots clinging to so much hatred that they can't even fit in at home.

These people are scum.. degenerate filth. It is thanks in part to them that the coup was successful, meaning they are also responsible for the civil war that broke out afterwards. These people have tens of thousands of deaths on their hands.

These guys really deserve a Kalibre missile or two on their HQ. Let them contemplate the suffering they've caused in the afterlife.

On a side note, it's cool that this got posted to steemit. That's one OG crypto project.

That's right I ASSUMED, that's why I said that, and yes I did some GUESSING. My apologies for being honest.

Hey, all things aside, we'd probably have better discussions in here if we could admit when we're speculating and guessing.

Agreed, that's why I either post a link backing up what I'm saying or I say I'm guessing, and I don't have a problem saying I'm wrong either, which I have done many times because, well, read the Disclaimer.

I read that blog and even the sputnik articles that it cites.  Was there supposed to be something there to implicate the U.S.?

No there wasn't, however, the point is that once again the U.S. government are backing the terrorist side.

I WONDER what inconvenient truths are known though? Not only by the U.S. but also the E.U & U.K. government as well? Like all these lazy shits do is talk to each other, it's not like they have to work to earn a dollar

No, I don't. Do you have any examples you can name?

Since you don't believe the US should be able to coup whomever we like without resistance, does that mean you are ok with resistance, or does that mean you have a better way to prevent coups?  If resistance is ok, does that make Russia the "aggressor"?

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I think Russia is finally saying enough overthrowing of foreign governments.  I am against war in general, but how else do you stop it?

No, I don't think so.  But I can't know that.

How can Russia "resist" against something that hasn't been inflicted upon it?

"what's your justification? Or why this war happened exactly?"

There is an aggressive force, the Russian army. There are interests of big capital at stake, on both sides. Those who are suffering now, because of the delusions of some and the crafty economic calculations of others, are the peoples of Russia and Ukraine (and, perhaps soon, those of other geographies near and far away).

Different governments have sided with one faction or the other, and have done so on the basis of economic calculations. There is no appeal to humanity in them. For these governments and their ideologues, there are good and bad interventions-invasions-destructions. The good ones are those carried out by their supporters, and the bad ones are those perpetrated by their opponents. The applause for Putin's criminal argument to justify the military invasion of Ukraine will turn into a lament when, by the same words, the invasion of other peoples whose processes do not please big capital will be justified.

Big capital and its “Western” regimes sat back and watched - and even encouraged - the situation as it deteriorated. Then, once the invasion had begun, they waited to see if Ukraine would resist, calculating what they could get out of one result or the other. As Ukraine persisted, then they began to issue "aid" invoices to be charged later. Putin is not the only one surprised by the Ukrainian resistance.

Those who win in this war are the big weapon-manufacturing consortiums, and the big capitals that see this opportunity to conquer: to destroy-reconstruct territories, that is to say, to create new markets of commodities and consumers, of human lives. Remember that the USA and Russia are the #1 and #2 global suppliers of weapons.

No war but the class war.

Good summary!  (or should I say good summary?)

In addition to the above points, we also know that the Donbas people have been begging Russia to help them in their struggle against the Ukrainian Far Right.  So Russia also has that going for them.

Russia is the only party in this conflict to invade and occupy the territories of the other parties.  This isn't complex.
Let me know if you need any other help understanding basic concepts.

It's a lot more complex than that.  Do you believe the US should be able to coup whomever we like without resistance?

Sure, gotta protect those ethnic Russians.
Boy that sounds awfully familiar as a justification for aggression and territorial expansion.  Maybe you can jog my memory.  Can you recall any famous historical figures who used similar justifications for their own aggression?
I wonder if Putin drew inspiration from a similar historical event?

he did
