Id request + a fun mushroom to look at :)
    #27614442 -

Habitat: NSW (Mountain-grassy field)
In a field of 1 metre tall grass that has had cows walk through in previous years, a lot of woody material on the grass also

Curious to what these are that are bunched on the wood chippy material, hoping for Golden caps though unsure.
I stopped cutting the grass "by hand" and took some pictures to make sure I do not disrupt the growth of them anymore if they are golden caps.

thanks

I want to know what the last one is, the pink on that looks like it would eat you if you got any closer...  It reminds me of a carnivorous plant.

I'm anxious for some to id that!

Sorry, no help here but I really appreciate the pictures!

The last pic of the red one looks like a Stinkhorn of some sort, possibly an Aseroe rubra.
Very cool!

Not sure about the first ones, but the second one is Clathrus archeri I believe or something close to that.

Edit: As flyingturtle said Aseroe rubra looks like a better fit

There are hundreds of these red alien mushrooms in this grass scattered, they seem to be coming from a sort of (puffball) shape thing and springing out when it is there time! Its awesome!

So think we have the alien (Aseroe Rubra), growing everywhere and it smells like rotting flesh to attract flies for itself to pollinate elsewhere or help the flys pollinate things which is pretty cool and I still dont know what the 1st ones are, Hopefully tomorrow they have grown more and I can get some better pictures.

I dont want to keep asking if different mushrooms are "magic" and spam the threads but I just don't know as my skills are only just starting to get training :P

Keep them coming, that's what this forum is for and how we all learn. It's winter time right now for alot of folks on here so things are a bit slow.

That being said, if your new to hunting actives, you can save yourself a ton of time/effort by going here first to figure out what grows around your area and then look further into habat and when they usually occur via mushroom observer or inaturalist. https://www.shroomery.org/8461/Which-psilocybin-mushrooms-grow-wild-in-my-area

If you want a better ID for your first group then photos clearly showing the gills along with a spore print would certainly help. They don't look like anything active though. Here is a link that has some good tips for making an ID request in the future. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5731447#Post5731447

Okay thankyou  much appreciated I will go check out the shrooms again to see spores, stem ect and get back to everyone!

I am located in NSW (Australia), we are in summer and I am in the mountains though it has still been colder and not much sun. Today was the hottest for a long time at 26degrees.

I also walk through a cow field every day to get around the property with long grass so there should be many shrooms coming my way if I can dive deeper into the links you just sent through! thankyou

26c sounds beautiful, its -14c where I'm at right now.
With such easy access to fields, I would be looking for Panaeolus cyanescens and Psilocybe cubensis growing from cow dung. 👍 Good luck on your hunt!
