Menlo Park reporting in!

Swung by a few of my known spots today. Things are looking pretty dormant, but did actually find a couple Allenii in one of the spots. It's a spot where they come up through some thin bushes that are on top of chips, so I'm thinking it's holding the moisture close enough for long enough.

Thanks Chuck! I have never seen anything else here in the CV but allenii and some cyans
and my first thought was stuntzii too! Oviods did not even cross my mind!
This is such great news! This means ovoids are in fact in the valley too so yoo-hoo!

I found a lone Cyan growing in a full sun bed of wood chips.

Found another and another and another ovoid patch in the central valley.

They are all over the place
I'm visiting my allenii patches and keep finding ovoids.
Maybe it's the early rain coupled with higher temps?

Idk, but just about anywhere I looked today ovoids were on display.
(I did not take pictures of all of the patches)

Another day, another ovoid patch (Edit: unless these are stuntzii) in a different central valley town:

Not too far from them I also found a nice sized cyan patch:
(sorry for the bad quality pictures)

Went back to the same area I found a bunch yesterday and found half a dozen Alleni flushes and a few scattered cyanescens.
Not a bad hall.

Went out today to check my spots again. I’ll post pics later, but I got a massive haul. At least a quarter pound dry, but I’m guessing it will honestly be a lot more than that. I left tons of pins to mature. Looks like this year is gonna be a banger.

Totally! The first year I hunted but didn’t find shit. The second year a decent amount. Finally, the third year we get some good rain early on. I’m so pumped. Now to find some azzies and cyanescens so I can have a cultivated buffet.

Nice work CHUCK :yesnod:

I hit yet another central valley town just to see what's up.
Seems like cyans flushed a week or so ago in front of a popular chain restaurant:

I’m always impressed how the Central Valley shows up hard to the party. All the true chip bed I visit are nil so I end up just hanging under the fog drip
