I have acquired immunity. I acquired my immunity by catching covid.
Is it possible anyone in the us hasn't caught covid? Unlikely right? Judging by how extremely transmissible it is and all.

I got tested once a week every week until I got vaccinated and I've never gotten covid

Almost every person I know well never got covid. Not a single person in my family got covid.  The reason you guys are getting sick is because you’re making terrible decisions. You’re the ones stuck at home for 10 days without your sense of smell. Paying for tests. All because of this imaginary flex about tyranny or whatever. Stop being such entitled little crybabies.

You fail to grasp the point of the vaccines, which is to prevent disease. The is no sterilizing immunity. It will last a year maybe two. Same for the previously infected. The only thing that is important is that you have acquired immunity before you get infected, because without that previously acquired immunity you can get seriously ill.

I was never home sick for even 3 days. Never lost my smell and I've only taken 2 tests. Koodz really has an active imagination.

Clearly the vax looses efficacy so you will need boosters and youll have to do that for the rest of your life, and will never be fully immune from spreading it and may even get very sick despite having recieved many boosters, thus covid will never go away, your fairy tale will never come true.

If the 1% was true and accurate then why are boosters such a big deal? That 1% seems way off and should actually be a very volatile and elusive number

Healthcare has some of the best job security in the world. I can't wait to see the spike in dementia prevalence 10-20 years down the road. Big pharma is going to make a killing when they figure out some effective dementia treatments. Hopefully DD will get some savings built up so he can invest in a nice nursing home somewhere when he retires there early. The hospital they cart him away to every week or so for avoidable emergencies will get a nice cut of that savings too. He'll probably know more about urethral catheters than you at some point in his life.

All because.. I'm wary of our shady government and pharmaceutical companies, one who paid the largest criminal fine in world history, making decisions about my employment suitability based on whether I've had gene therapy to not protect me, but just to keep me out of the hospital in case I catch....... a Chinese fever.

I think that's really unfair to say. I've thought about it and discussed it with friends endlessly. I'm a philosopher; a deep thinker by nature. Honestly, a lot of the pro vax lot have shown some real ugly colours - IMO - when the subject comes up. The rhetoric I hear from that side sickens me more than the rhetoric I hear from the other.

That kind of attitude troubles me more than just about anything else I see/hear regarding this whole thing.

For Washington state there were 119,687 cases recorded in unvaccinated 12-34 year olds. In that same population there were 10,499 hospitalizations. By those numbers, unvaccinated people in WA aged 12-34 with confirmed Covid had an 8.8% risk of hospitalization.

Hospitalization obviously doesn’t tell the full story. For everyone who’s hospitalized there are clearly many more who are sick but don’t meet the requirements for admission, which at some hospitals are fairly high. Being very sick with a virus that reeks all sorts of long-term and often not immediately noticeable damage on the lungs and blood vessels and heart and kidneys and olfactory neurons and a whole cornucopia of physical structures and physiological processes doesn’t seem like a bright idea when you can just choose not be.
