I get the slippery slope argument, but, like...it's a vaccine. Not a tracker. Not forcing you to go to war. Not a tattoo or a microchip.

It's a vaccine. For the virus that just fucked the entire world up.



My opinion: get with the times or get left behind. You have a choice, no one is forcing you at gunpoint. Nothing is permanent, everything changes. Be like water.

I'm sure you've taken all kinds of vaccines and drugs without having some weird phobia get in the way. There's nothing rational to be afraid of with respect to vaccination. The real question is "why won't you accept that conclusion and do you part"? Do you have a well justified answer to that question, and if not, then I'd advise you to do some introspection try to understand why you're choosing to risk severe harm to yourself and others with no good or clear justification. I know you're not choosing to avoid the vaccine that clearly saves lives because you're an entitled jerkbag. I know you're more thoughtful than that. I'm just not sure why you're confused and why you haven't made a good decision on the subject yet.

To answer the question though, I'm generally against unnecessary mandates. We have had drafts, which are mandates for service in war, but we don't need them because we have a large professional army. We don't need mandatory irremovable trackers because we all carry smart phones that do that and we pay top dollar to give that info to private corporations so they can benefit from it, so we don't need mandates there either. I'd use mandates when free choice has failed to provide the necessary benefit, but we still need stability and progress for the good of all. If we needed soldiers for a real war and didn't have an army, then we'd need a draft. I won't try to make an argument for the trackers because big business and marketing have us begging to by new ones all the time already, so the idea of a mandate is laughable and unnecessary. If we put the same amount of resources and effort into vaccination as smart phones, then this debate wouldn't even be a thought, and you'd sell your soul to get the next booster. That's when I'd start to worry about loss of "essential liberties" with respect to vaccination.

Ideally a society has what it needs to make good decisions through free discussion and all that good stuff, but we don't invest enough in public welfare to make people smart, so we're stuck with too many idiots making decisions, so we need some top down authoritarian shit every once in a while. Nobody likes it, but nobody want's to shell out the time and effort to make real democracy feasible. it's a long term investment that needs an educated and empowered populace, and that ain't in the cards right now.

I don't eat mcdonalds or smoke, there are no gene therapies mislabeled as vaccines that I'm aware of, and it's not the fever that I'm particularly concerned about. Also not sure what you're trying to say with "and no, will not". You have a personal choice, and you've chosen to put on the gimp suit and enjoy your spanking. I recommended the vaccine, but you're the guy who thinks that post I quoted makes sense. Man up and own your choice. paddles are single use and nonrefundable, but you can reuse the suit as long as you wash it.
