Another problem with Israel’s vaccination program is they relied heavily on the Pfizer 3 week vaccination schedule and we now know the 3 week interval is less than optimal.

All members of our family had a say in the matter

Its like with the vaccine. If we dont detect any negative effects after a couple months, we conclude there are no long-term effects.

We are fine now, therefore we are fine in the long run

That makes no sense. Antivaxxers think people who get vaccinated are afraid but really the reason they won’t get vaccinated is because they’ve been fed a diet of antivax fear-mongering

Glad you're all in it together at least. Hopefully you'll still be able to feel clever about it all later. I know other people are feeling smarter than you, and they making a killing off this stupidity. Antivaxxers are better money makers than smokers right now. That's not how it works with the vaccines or the virus though. People take the vaccine specifically to get long term effect of protection from morbidity and mortality, and that protection lasts much longer than a couple months, and Covid causes morbidity in the short term and long term that is both clinical and subclinical in nature. All the other oversights and misunderstandings in your argument aside, believing someone is healthy doesn't make it so.

It's not about what good will come from it but how they feel and what they felt was fear of the virus, now they are vaxxed so they don't feel the fear so now they feel masks are not necessary, but the tv box says they're necessary and what they think about the virus is from the tv box, and who they want to listen to is the tv box, unless the tv box goes against what they feel, then they do not, and who they don't want to listen to is people who had the virus, but they do want to listen to the tv box, unless of course, the tv box tells them if they're vaxxed they need to wear a mask.

Someone already posted that. It evades some antibodies in-vitro, like most in-vitro research it probably won't mean a whole lot clinically but we'll see. Delta makes up like 99% of cases right now I'm pretty sure and I don't really see that changing with how contagious it is.

It’s very unlikely any variant that has evolved from earlier strains will be able to compete with delta. Delta may represent peak fitness for the virus
