Mulch, wood chip mulch, is perfect for wood loving Psilocybe, like
Psilocybe cyanescens. And grow well in the garden, but need the right climate.

Problem with garden mulch like compost as a casing is its
to rich in nutrients, so contams can be a problem.

Mostly Psilocybe species turn blue when bruised. But they are not the only mushrooms to do so.

Unlikely any are active, depends were you are, if your in australia
or newzealand, possibly, if in the northern hemisphere, then not till autum really. Even then, you,ed be lucky, unless you spawned it there.
