Looks more like tomentose mycelium. I have zero experience with these but I'll try it out. This was a gift.

Enigma is a mutation that came from Tidal Wave (which is a cross of Penis Envy and B+)

Why is that one a waste? Weight wise it doesn't add up? They look fricken sweet. How old is that? Have you ever tried re hydrating the sub at a certain point?

Is it true these are closer to 20% dry weight?

When you go to harvest a small substrate of E like that one the fungus doesn’t stay in full chunks like from a bigger sub...this kinda crumbles into tiny pieces. It still looks cool imo but after harvest it doesn’t look as cool lol.
I’ve tried rehydrating subs after harvest but nothing happened. The surface gets too damaged during harvest. Ime these are one flush wonders.
That one was over a month old when I harvested it... when I squeeze or poke them and they’re super soft I harvest

Not necessarily a one flush wonder here's a 2nd flush coming in after hydration. That bottom right corner I scalped the sub a bit.

Admittedly they're a bit of a novelty it's a long term investment. I haven't dosed them yet to see how worthwhile the time invested is.

Quite a few different people have told me (at separate times) the trip is “better than penis envy”

one of my fav pics, love the way these look. is that pheno pretty stable from MS? they look way different than vendor photos I've seen

They’re sporeless. I have the culture in the fridge but I’ve kinda given up on it. Each new grow they look more and more mutated lol. Super mutated gills. No potency. They look cool asf tho.

I got some E plates going to grain today. (I took this pic a few days ago)

Here’s an overgrown TW plate (they get nuts on agar)
