I think it’s lame how many people are trying to sell spores cultures etc.


On the enigma tip tho this is by far the best fruiting chamber setup period. Haven’t seen it perform better in anything else: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27093825

I spawned mine to my normal unmodified sterilite 12 gallon clear tub. FAE is done by an automated setup, I think air exchange happens 3-4x an hour. Fingers crossed it does well!

Long time lurker. Had to finally make an account and join the discussion. Swim has tidal wave on agar now doing isolations. Is this a substrain that happens often? Or is it a needle in a haystack type situation.

My tub of Enigma It went to bulk on 4/16.
I thought the Bluing was contam at first but its not.
My question is how do you know when they are done?


I got my Plates from someone on IG who had extras.
I am always amazed at what people are selling on IG.

That tub looks quite fucked over.  Very likely the result of a bacterial interaction coupled with overly-wet conditions.  That said... I clone everything just to see for myself,  so I can't blame you for trying. Best of luck!

Gettin' some big brainers finally! Got another tub of these going too, hopefully see the same. The whole surface of this sub is covered in growth, not sure if it's going to brain up or not. Has been in fruiting conditions a full month already and not looking like it's stopping soon! I've had other tubs made the same day put out 2 flushes and get tossed already!

Yo, this is awesome! I just got my hands on some LC of Enigma, will be in the mail  Monday. I'll have it in my library for a while, as I haven't started even growing yet--I made the decision to get active last week and am currently getting supplies in. I say all that to say, your pictures and updates are inspirational, please keep it up!  :elmo:

I fruited directly from  PF TEK  jars. 2 weeks after first pin they grow so slowly. I’m praying to get a printable cap

Impressive blobs . Regardless of potency they look much less appetizing than a open cap .
I used a LC syringe of tidal wave # 2 from a trusted vendor new to the shroomery ,don’t ya know , eh ? It was great , no contamination , fast growing , resilient mycelium.
All the fruits save a couple small blobs were sort of pill shaped and  potent . Really potent.
I should’ve put them into a horse / straw substrate but I was impatient and overly curious so I fruited the BRF cakes directly after a dunk . I did manage to drop clone tissue to agar successfully . I’ll transfer them to rye soon !

You should maybe edit out that vendor name. That's a violation of the TOC here. Is bad for the site to do that.

Tidal wave produce spores so it could be a normal syringe of spores...If it's actually an LC (I doubt it if it's a website selling and actually delivering, likely just a mislabel by a novice grower) then yea, trouble afoot.


Couple baseballs. This tub was made back in May. Almost 3 months old and it's just finishing up its first 'flush'. The images of the 2 'clusters' still on the sub are material I'll be cloning to agar tomorrow!

I thought it was ok to give a shout out to trusted vendors listed within the site . They’re new to the shroomery but they have been good to me for many years.
It was definitely an LC . It was sold as one and looked and performed like one , I thought it got killed it was almost 120 degrees in my mailbox but I put it to jars right away and it took off.
I’m very happy with the product and they respond and answer questions. IMHO a great vendor . I edited the post so it’s  nondescript now , them uncle fuckers run a clean lab don’t ya know.
