Someone stole my license plate sticker

I just realized today that someone stole the year sticker from my license plate. Luckily I just paid for my registration a couple weeks ago and I should be getting new stickers soon.

What would you guys think if after I put the new sticker on, I reinforce the edge of the sticker by putting super glue on it? And then next year I can use nail polish remover to get it off. I also ordered a car cover for my car.

Can you guys think of any other ways I can reinforce the stupid sticker? I'm also going to call the main DMV headquarters and suggest they stop with the stickers and do something else like a sticker on the inside of the windshield like how other states do it.

That sucks. Maybe buy one of those plastic covers that protect your license plate?

Wow, what an ass. The po po are going to know as soon as they run it.. :shrug:

I always razor blade my old one off and clean the spot on the plate real well with alcohol. So far I’ve not lost one. I guess if someone wants it though they’re going to get it.

I called the non-emergency line and apparently it is a common thing in my county for people's stickers to get stolen. the cop is always going to run the license plate to check the registration before pulling you over because they know that people either steal it or they forget to put the new one on as soon as they get it.

They're illegal in CO too. They interfere with automatic license plate readers, can't be having that. :tinfoil:

My state's tags are impossible peel intact anyway, the thieves just cut the plate and remove the sticker with heat and chemicals at home.

Rig it so that as soon as someone touches the plate they get the piss shocked/burned out of them. All you need is some wire and some batteries....electricity is fun :house:

I'm not sure. Electricity is dangerous so be careful whatever you rig doesnt backfire as in damage your car by extremely heating the plate or by using too much electricity and stopping said theif's heart lol
