I find that my regular mono's dry out around the bottom holes too quickly.

Brown spots on the caps are from water droplets from the lid causing discoloration.

Has anyone been using this tek with only coco coir as substrate when spawning? If so, what results are you getting?

Do you mean just without verm? I haven’t run this particular tub yet but I’ve done plenty of coir only grows with no problems.

Yes, just the coir and no verm. I have been doing only coir (prepped in bucket with hot water) whilst using Bods unmodified tubs and it works great. I was hoping to do the same prep for the EZ Dialed too and I wanted to see if others had success without the verm.

I never use fans. The reason for that statement was to illustrate that the drying near the holes on my regular tubs do not occur on Pasty's tubs, for obvious reasons.

I like the way you have a pan on the bottom of the substrate. Does this pan fit the bottom of the 66qt tub? If so can you share where you get them?

Will this work for fruiting BRF cakes too? Seems a hell of a lot more convenient than making a SGFC if so!

If I was going to fruit brf cakes in a mono I would top fruit them in their jars. Case with whatever and bottom water as the fruits develop. Be sure to fill the mono with as many cakes as possible.

Here is a couple brf cakes that were fruited in a standard mono with bottles.

I've used the same hole configuration on sweater box mini mono's, works great. No difference.
