Grapefruit juice does contain an inhibitor of the enzyme, cytochrome P450. This stops the oxidation process by which cytochrome P450 degrades molecules, (mostly drugs and metabolites) in the body. This includes opiates, Antidepressents and about 75% of all drugs entering the body.

LSD however is degraded and completely inactivated by monoamine oxidases in the brain and peripheral nervous system. Cytochrome P450 has nothing do to with this, inactivating it will do nothing for metabolism of LSD/psilocybin etc.. On the other hand however, Monoamine oxidases do have inhibitors which slow the degradation of tryptamines, MOAi's like Harmine found in passion flower.

Well you just don't know when to quit, I was asking a question and you tried to act like you knew more than me. It obviously wasn't intended as a joke and wasn't funny anyways.

I think this is pretty relevant, looking at this years later science just proved that P450 enzymes do influence LSD metabolism in the body. So the original poster had a hunch that science did not know about, yet now does...
