Yes it would be good if these things were announced by the admins in the announcement forum.

..but of all the people to be a new admin, Suffer would have been one of the first to come to mind if I were in the position of making a choice.

I agree with that. I know at least one admin reads this thread. Why not announce this here? give some info about why etc. Some people do care about new admins!

Suffer has been an IRC admin for a while and since we recently created an IRC forum he's been managing that too. He is acting as a "liason" between the IRC community and the rest of the site, helping to keep the administrators informed about any issues which warrant attention. He was made an admin so he can give and revoke access to that forum as necessary and bring sensitive issues directly to the Administrator forum. Plus he's the pimp daddy.

Yea, im not a REAL admin, nor do i wish to be at the moment. But as most  of you know, i spend almost all my free time (and some thats not free) handling IRC and the OH SO MUCH FUN we have in there :tongue: Come on in everyone!
