Hehehehe thanks gumby, morons like him are nothing but immature fags who just want to get high on anything. Im getting pictures tomorrow, its proving to be a pain in the ass to get them but they will be on here tomorrow, also, got spore print, seems to be brown to slight tinge of pruple, but predominantly brown. Can anyone come to any conclusions?

Well if they briuse blue, have real gills(not pores), and the spore print is purplish brown... those are all characteristics of Psilocybes. I still wouldn't eat them though, just to be safe. Hold on to them untill you get those pictures up... Sounds very promising though.

Here are the pics as promised, a bit old and dry looking but i think they will satisfy the ID...sorry for bluriness, had to use a phone camera so its a bit shabby but i think it should be sufficient.



Next pic isnt the best quality, but you can see the blue bruising in the stem of the mushrooms (spore print on right hand side, i have better pic of that comin up) 



Here is unfortunately *blurry* image of spore print :crazy:, but i can tell you it is brownish.




Hopefully that is enough for ID. Thanks for all the help from everyone :smile:

the second pic looks like it has some bruising going on around the stem...

looks like a psilocybe to me,but im no expert,hard to tell from those pics

yep, can't really make out the first pic, but the 2nd definately looks like a sub :laugh:

hmm not really, well if i got more pics wouldnt be til next tuesday at the earliest, possibly (unlikely) over the weekend. Sorry guys, also i picked them all within a square meter so i am assuming they are all the same, by looking at them they all look the same so yeah im pretty sure they are.  :wink:

Well, they're definately psilocybes and definately active, but I don't know which species. I'm not up to par on my Australia and NZ mushrooms quite yet. Looks like you've got some winners though.

If for some reason some mushrooms you picked didn't briuse blue, I'd toss those out. They could be poisonous.

Umm i have about 13, is that enough for 2 people new to mushrooms, they range in size from a 10c piece to bigger than a 50c.

I've got three newb trippers, i have done mushrooms once, they have never done it. Would 13 varying sized specimens be enough for the 3 of us??? Also does weed and mushrooms mix well?

Can't comment on your first question, but as for smoking, I'd say go for it. Get a feel for the trip then smoke a little. I don't know what it is about weed, but it sure does spice a trip up like nothing else IMHO.

they vary wildly in potency, 4 fresh ones had me floored last year... although yours look a little worse for wear?
