Do you think he was able to get your license plate number?

I don’t know, as soon as we got to the car we made away as fast as possible and he was still aways behind us then, a block or two, but I feel like the plate number is what he was trolling for.

You saw him in your rear-view mirror at night pulling away? He got that plate number sara! Not trying to scare you but start taking measures in case he got it.

I'm down for all of the above.

Minus the plane.

Sara please please don't feel bad about not confronting that dude. Alot of people think they're doing something brave in some situations like that but in reality they're just being stupid.

I mean it when I say be safe. You made the safe choice and I'm proud of you.

Samesies. And girl if you need to lay low for a little bit, and keep out of Denver, do it. Even for peace of mind. Don't be ashamed. You have kids, you have to take care of yourself. There are so many ways you can continue to help out, while keeping yourself safe.

Got out of the situation unharmed and there's a good chance he didn't get the plate info, I'd say that's a win. But yeah when shit gets real like that it's a whole other state of mind.

You all can come live at my house

But seriously like I said, there's always a spot to crash if any fellow shroomerite wants to see the arctic  it's a beautiful place but very isolated as well. Which isn't bad but if you want to see a show in Ottawa or Montreal its $1200 to get there and back from here.

Yes, agree to both of you. I meant to put that in as well about her doing the right thing and not letting them get too physically close, but she needs to be aware that the plate number might have been taken down.

I wonder if people think Canada like they like to think about America. Alot of tourists come here thinking you can see Disney World, the grand canyon, NYC, and Hollywood all in a week.

I would seriously love to go up there some day though. Would also like to see the great northern forests too though.

When would you say is the best months to not freeze my tits off? Or at least minimize tit freezing.

Hit me up if you are ever in the Toronto area in your travels. We get pretty decent summers here.

My ex lived nearish to the border there and had dual citizenship.

Still kinda bummed I couldn't use that to weasel my way to Canada. :ohwell:

Dunno when I could travel that far but I'm hoping I could take a break from employment after I finish the house and rebuild my savings a bit.

Biggest kink in that plan is you don't get much healthcare in this country if you don't have employment... I have no idea how that works in another country that is not your own...

I haven't mentioned it but one of the things stressing me out right now is last week my boss was like "hey you know that department that you asked for help from and they said they couldn't because they wanted to keep our work separate?"

Yeah...

"Well they want you to do their work full time."

I'd go to their team?

"No you'd still be with us, just doing their work and nothing else."

...well I don't really like what I'm doing right now so OK.

I've been training 5 people on 6 different types of work this week. I train someone I trained before next week and I hated working with that person... mmm ...alot. So looking forward to that. These people need to be up to speed by wednesday when I start my own training on something I've never done before and my boss can't even give me a summary on with a person I've never worked with before that at least partially refused to help me.

It's not been as big of a shitshow as it could have been but it's been a typical clusterfuck of disorder.

I've decided that I'm going to learn the new work and do what I can with it and if I really don't like it or quickly lose interest I'm going to quit. At some point menial employment couldn't be worse.

And I feel a bit disrespected being tossed around all willynilly.

Doesn't help I got burned in the department meeting today where the manager spoke for a good while about all the appreciation for all the tasks the other girl who's transitioning with me did and then I got a very brief "thanks" as an afterthought.

Well fucking thanks to you too, manager I had to teach how to computer :cookiemonster:

I think there is such a thing as private health insurance specifically for international travel, not sure of the details.

I'd say now until late September is the best weather.  The winter is brutal but also very beautiful. There is a very brutal contrast of beauty and harshness here Haha. It is like the duality of life.
Thi the winters here are so pretty, unless you have a sled and a friend experienced with going on the la d here it can be dangerous. People die every year from going out alone and getti g lost. Everything looks the exact same out on the land and blizzards can hit randomly. Most times so thick you cant see 5 ft I front of you.
But yea, summer time here is amazing unless the mosquitos decide to carry you away. They can be brute here.

The fishing g here is superb.  Getti g my fishi g license soon and cant wait to catch some arctic char. Last time I got fresh char I did sushi :awesomenod:

Imagine goingg to all those places in a week Haha maybe with a jetpack :p

Grand Canyon would be awesome

Hah, I was wondering about those mosquitos. I've heard they're something else up there.

I just want to see the northern lights before I die.

The southern lights would be cool too.

Near the jungley regions of Japan there are these thick swaths of very dense swarms of mosquitoes...and sometimes in the moonlight it’s kind of - sort of like watching the Northern Lights’ demon counterpart.

Sounds like an undercover Fed or undercover cop. When I ran into the Secret Military, they drove brand new white cars. They were intimidating. Be Safe Sara! Drive unpredictable! Lose him in traffic!

A yurt community sounds super dope Pirate, as long as we still have access to the Shroomery :awesome:

Woke up early, but got some good sleep. I gotta start doing some pre-moving this weekend. A must. I will know the fate of my company June 15th. Also, at work, they are gathering BBQ supplies so im not sure if its a celebration BBQ or a sad business closing Farewell BBQ.

Renting cars is not too expensive for you Sara in future.
Somebody else renting car for you to help support the cause is even better.

Leave the mobile home.

Northern lights are truly amazing.  It's so eerie. When I first saw them the first thing that came to mind was Creepy Green Light by Type O Negative.

I will take a picture of the bay tomorrow morning, its stunning this time of year. It's still frozen over but the way the water rests in the ice makes it look so pretty.
Last year when it started to thaw a bunch of giant pieces of ice drifted back into the bay and when the tide was out you could walk on the sandbar going through this maze of 8+ foot tall chunks of ice scattered in the bay.
