So fed up with this busted up laptop, ordered a refurbished Thinkpad X260 last night. It's supposed to have really good battery life.

be careful with it, I got a t440s for $500, I broke the screen , that was another like $70, then I fried the keyboard when I spilt like the tinest amount of coffee on it, so I started using a wireless keyboard I had, and then my gf broke the screen, so now I have a broken screen and a broken keyboard, so on a $500 laptop I have spent an extra $70 already and plan to spend another $120ish on it

I got a t530 for like $50 and I havnt had a problem with it, the screen is lower resolution but I dont even notice

My current one is a T530i (same as T530 but an i3 CPU). I got it in 2015 for about $500. Needs a new keyboard and trackpad and the battery lasts 10 or 15 mins. Where did you get the $50 T530?

Sniffla: those fucking "grackles" are notorious for causing all kinds of havoc, noise, shit, and annoying calls! Also in the the DFW in particular there is a rule to NEVER park under a tree anywhere during the months of march through october, lol. It sucks because the shade is a respite from the fucking sun/heat.
