ninja cat, we have changed our menu a bit for the take out aspect, ,its just such a small town and apparently no one is that busy. I hope by the end of summer we can get back to having the club open again for the members.

pirate-blues I hope you're okay! I'd get tested just in case. It's better being safer than sorry :smile:

I recently came across some art that made me realize just how boring all my rope is so I’m currently in the process of ordering rope in every color ever put to pigment. :witch:

There's a restaurant here that's thriving by selling off their ingredients as groceries for curbside pickup and doing cocktails to go. It seems like it's kind of filling a niche because there is a pretty tight knit rural community right here and it's like a good half hour trip to the closest grocery store. But apparently Panera Bread was doing something similar for a bit and it was working out well for them as well.


I feel okay, really, better than I did yesterday. I think it's just a really bad year for allergies unfortunately :sad:. I really am just so sick of this and just want to get it over with so badly. I think I'm just going a bit stir crazy. My maternal grandma is also continuing to be totally and completely asymptomatic, so now I'm all ready for everything down to the tickle in my throat to be corona lol.

I wanted to do cocktails or beers to go but it's against liquor laws. I also want to set up some tables and chairs and set up a few grills and do curbside orders. People could get some tacos or pizza or burgers and stuff. If we are like this in the summer I'd like to get a temporary liquor license to set up in the parking lot for a few days to a week when it gets nicer outside. People could enjoy food and drinks outside and be a little cheaper.

It's good to hear you're feeling better than  yesterday at least. Being stuck in your place must be getting old fast. Are there any nice trails to walk near you? That can help a lot.

Those are some good ideas! I'm sure you'll find a groove. Our liquor laws are recovering puritanical trash here too, but things got bad enough that they pretty much just said fuck it and started allowing the curbside cocktails. Released a bunch of people from jail and prison (who should've already been out seeing as they had all already served minimum sentences and were approved for parole) too.


And yeah, I've actually been hanging out at my parent's for over a month because things got a bit too hot by me, and my roommate did the same. Attached housing, downtown area, not really a lot of outdoorsy space...mostly moved there to be able to enjoy all the bars and restaurants lol. I'm hoping we can get back there to enjoy some modified concerts and dining options, but tbh, staying at my parent's was the right choice. They live inside of a skiing and lake community and right next to a nature preserve and have a lot more space and outdoor things to do than I do, and my dog loves it here. As much as I hate paying for a place that no one is living in...eh, it's not too bad to have options

What a nightmare, globs of hamburger grease flying around all over the place under velocity. Little grease balls just fucking pelting you as you're trying to fry up some cheese burgers, you're desparately holding down your patties with a spatula and praying to god the cheese stays put :rofl:
