That's cool that everyone is getting Nintendos too! I need to get another game for mine. Right now I'm playing Donkey Kong and Smash Bros, but feel the need for another.

I'm definitely getting Paper Mario when it's out soon. Beside that I have also been considering getting Pokemon or Animal Crossing. Both look fun and both are unlike any game I have ever played before so I am a little hesitant.

What I really want is the Nintendo Fit Ring game, but that is impossible to get now without spending like $500. You would think Nintendo would just print out another batch since the demand is high, but they are really not a company whose mission is to make money. So strange?

Yeah, it was an LSD adventure for sure. So many lessons learned that day. Almost too many lessons :lol: Im super glad I didnt sink my jet ski. That would have been terrible. I found the issue. So the exhaust/cooling manifold has a design flaw. It has a cap that goes on the side, I think its like a safety pressure cap. Not really sure. Anyway, I plugged it up with SteelStick but it popped off sometime while I was riding out to the lake. I remember hearing a pop sound (which i forgot to mention in my story). I thought the pop sound was a stick I hit in the water, as theres floating sticks and branches. But, I know realize it was that patch-cap thing I made for the exhaust/cooling manifold blowing off like a bullet or like the safety cap on a Pressure Cooker. The cap I made had some kind of weird rock looking think on the end? Not sure what that was. But it could have been blocking the cooling water-flow in the manifold.

So now, Im working on getting all the water and doing the patch job again but with trying to dry everything out first.

I made a new journal entry because of this intense experience.

canadian tire sold my air conditioner, it said they had three left monday night, I ordered one, it said it would be ready tuesday by noon, tuesday noon rolled around and I got no email telling me its ready, I looked at the website and thy were outta stock, they better have it by monday or ill be pissed, i'll probably never order online again from them

Yeah as annoying as raccoons can be I feel like they are a kindred spirit to humans. This part of the world has no monkeys and I think raccoons are the equivalent of monkeys here, smart animals with skilled hands that are good at manipulating objects and causing mayhem.

Made some hash yesterday that came together pretty good. I had some this morning. The other hash was a commercial product. But also from dry sift kief.

Hey psi, since you're the resident tree planting expert, do you know anything about growing them? I've got two green and one red maple growing. The red is just a baby still but the greens are probably 10" and starting to wooden slightly already. What I'm curious about is the burlap bags people put around trees. Root bags? Like is it necessary and how big should it be before I transplant it in to one? If you have no idea that's fine too I just prefer first hand info to google searches so I figured I'd ask

It really was 90% gravity, but here's to hoping one of those mr. clean magic erasers will help because otherwise I'm paying for a fresh coat of paint :okay:

That honestly sounds like a complete nightmare. It was good that you were able to keep a cool head and get yourself out of that situation. I'm not so confident it wouldn't be at the bottom of the lake if this happened to me :lol:.


Also I don't want to scare you too badly and get you all paranoid, but the Rona can present as GI symptoms like what your coworker had. Stay safe and stay vigilant. If you're not already set up for telehealth I would get it set up now. Blood pressure cuff, pulse oxemeter, and thermometer - it might save your life. Things are probably going to start getting slightly worse(who knows if it will get AS worse, or if the real second wave is waiting in the fall) again soon, but I know it's different in every state.

My whole family is feeling a bit run down. I'm thinking it's allergies that are just really starting to kick into high gear. So much coughing though. Mine got worse this week as well, and I had to cut a 20 mile ride short yesterday, it's just so easy to brush it all off as allergies :shrug:

For small hardwoods like that we would often use these plastic spiral things called rodent guards to protect the bark at the base from being nibbled on. Did not really encounter burlap on roots, maybe on the biggest 300 lb monsters we would get sometimes. On the surface I guess burlap would act like mulch. One thing we did use like this were coco coir mats.

Good morning everyone. 10am here. I'd been waking up at 3-5pm lately but it seemed I drank myself to the point of only getting a few hours of sleep last night.
Can't complain because I prefer waking up earlier in the day.
Got a 24hr ban from facebook for posting a meme with a naked black dude in it, but nothing is even showing. Facebook algorithms are weak. Oh well, I've been thinking about cutting all the social media for a little while now. I have too much other shit going on these days.



I know a little bit about trees. I took a few classes on Dendrology back in college.
Burlap bags around the roots is only used by Tree nurseries for trees that are going to be sold/transported/planted elsewhere. It's a means to contain the rootball. The roots grow past the burlap, but they prune those roots and the trees do fine.

If you are planting those maples somewhere local you are best off planting them there once they are big enough and firm enough to stand on their own without being easily trampled.
Be careful not to plant too deep, it can cause a lot of issues later on.
Also helps to mulch around the base.

How big are they when you plant them, are they just in pots or whatever? On the one hand I want some trees, but I want a house pet out of them for a while too lol. So they won't get planted until next year at least. I just want to make sure I plant them appropriately for the size and I've transplanted some house plants that got a little dicey once they got big enough or some are just touchy about their roots. I thought it would be cool if I could do it with the kids so maybe they could go back to it when they're older and see how much it's grown. If it goes well I intend to make a project of it, a couple trees every year or two.

Damn man, that sucks. A restaurant nearby has been doing cheap meals you can swing by and take home for a lower price than the usual stuff on the menu, the owner tells me it's been helping them stay afloat. It's usually some form of protein, salad and chopped up fruit for dessert, it's different every day and it breaks up the monotony of always eating the same thing.


Hahaha I found a baggie of weed when I visisted vancouver on the sidewalk. Good stuff too! Once I nearly had a heart attack when I found a gram of bubble hash in my carry on luggage once I'd already boarded the plane! I rushed to the bathroom and flushed it then and there! I don't know how it got through, it was in the front pocket and should have been seen by TSA.

Allergies suck PB, I'm super allergic to dust mites, so I have allergies 24/7 if I'm not on antihistamines. It sucks.

I do find myself hoping just a little bit that it is The Rona. I know it's almost definitely not. And I absolutely don't want to expose anyone else to it. But damn I'm so ready to just get this over with. At least then I can be of some use for when the second wave slams us in the fall.


I don't know that I'm willing to waste 100 dollars on a probable negative antibody test with questionable accuracy. But damn I am tempted.
