Cooking and eating really good food.

Yeah, seriously.

Not on the come up, obviously. Or during the peak. On the back half of the trip. One of my favorite things to do now is stock up the fridge with some really, really high quality food for the back half of the trip. Like I'll buy some chilean sea bass, or some prime grade ribeye and lobster. I'll go all out. Shit I'll even get crazy and get a fresh baked rye and some goose foie gras. Some oyster mushrooms as a side (for example). The key though, to me anyway, is it has to be good food. Not junk food. And cooked right then. By you (assuming it has to be cooked).

And then I'll smoke a bowl, watch some Bong Appetit on Vice to get in the mood, throw on some good music in the kitchen and then get after it. To me it's a blast. And by the back half of the trip I'm usually starving. I swear by the time I eat it tastes as good as any five star restaurant.

Maybe I'm weird lol but I have a blast on the cooking part of the trip and it's always one of the things I most look forward to it. It's key for me to have a selection of good food in the fridge before I dose.

things i like to do solo
- chill on a swing while listening to wagner or black metal
- watch the scene in platoon where they smoke weed on repeat
- walk the dog
- do pushups
- eat sunflower seeds/ hit juul/ drink beer
- think about how weird everything is and laugh
- on the comedown watch apocalypse now

Meditating. Staring and concentrating in general such as into the embers in a fire, a wall of trees up a mountainside, rain against the water, stars in the sky. Swimming. Mushroom hunting and studying. Being in a completely dark room.

for movies watch whatever you think might be trippy to watch on psyches.  animated ones are a good bet when you dont know. nature docs are good too

About to embark on a new journey tonight with a new batch. This will be my first graveyard trip, but only plan on taking one tab (the last few times I took 2, and other time only half a tab). I'm gonna go for a walk as the sun is coming up and hopefully pass the fuck out a couple of hours after that :eek:

It's funny that you mention watching Apocalypse Now on the comedown. The Redux happened to be on TV last time I tripped and watched it with my friend and his dad.

While I am normally a hyper-sexual person, I get repulsed at the sight of porn on the come-up and peak, but am usually quite horny on the comedown of acid or shrooms. I always jack off when I smoke weed though.

I've only had sex on an acid comedown once and it was amazing. It was only the second girl I had ever been with and still once of the finest looking to date. I can't believe I pulled it off lol.

Swimming on psychedelics could be potentially dangerous, especially on mushrooms. Mushrooms can decrease blood pressure enough to cause people to pass out on their own. Swimming could make this effect worse. Even people who drink and swim sometimes drown as a result of passing out. If you passed out in the water on psychedelic, you'd almost certainly drown.

On acid, I suggest laying down in bed, staring at the ceiling, and thinking.

Porn is better on MDMA than psychedelics, IMO. On psychedelics, I just start thinking about crazy shit like how the people involved are just human beings with minds and dreams and goals, and then I start thinking about their lives and shit, and their bodies become a series of arbitrary geometric shapes and the whole act kindof deconstructs itself into a bunch of separate abstract concepts where the instinctual responses are separated out somehow from what is happening, and the whole act seems totally arbitrary, and the concept of sex and its image separates from its instinct, and that makes me think about how we're all really intellectual creatures and that's what separates us from the animals, and how sex is just an arbitrary instinct that we blindly follow because we're so primitive, and then it just becomes a bunch of colored shapes mashing against each other arbitrarily, and it just seems ridiculous, and on and on and on, it's bizarre. It kindof ruins it for me, it just becomes an intellectual rabbit hole.

Whereas, with MDMA, I almost felt like I was actually having sex with the person in the porn. There were moments where it was almost as real as real sex. It was crazy, I genuinely felt personally involved in the sex somehow.
