There's a cannabis delivery service in my city that I use and it's the BOMB. They have a menu on WeedMaps that they update daily with great products, everything from flower, to shatter, to distillates, to edibles, etc.. They deliver it right to your door (no delivery fee) and they're way cheaper than the dispensaries; you can get a quarter-ounce of high-end weed for $50. That sure as shit beats the dispensaries where they can charge anywhere from $80 - $120 for the same quarter-ounce.

Wouldn't that mean they're cutting corners in the growing, curing or testing process? I recently learned about CRC and that alone makes me want to stay away from any cheap extract.

https://blog.lunatechequipment.com/color-remediation

Quote:
While not the norm, some unscrupulous cannabis producers can run low-grade concentrate through a CRC system to try and polish the extract and lighten its dark hue to pass it off as high-grade dabs. Consumers none the wiser can be duped into buying less-than-ideal extracts. As a result, the extracts end up still tasting harsh and smelling horrible.

Quote:
For instance, activated carbon is usually made from coconut shells, wood, bamboo, and other carbonaceous materials. After a certain number of uses, activated carbon begins to break down and can release heavy metals from its ash content into the final extract. Activated carbon from natural sources can also release benzopyrenes, which are carcinogenic metabolites.

Beats me, man. I don't usually smoke extracts anyways. Their flower is fantastic, though.

Normally for these deliveries someone else at your house can sign for it at the door as long as they are an adult. But at the post office I think you are supposed to be the correct person. I guess some of them don't care though.

I order through a MoM and it usually takes between 4 and 8 days to get here from BC. There is no legal cannabis shop here and the prices online are very expensive. Some are like $16 for a gram plus shipping.

Just checked and they have a prerolled joint for $18 :|

Yeah you are in one of the territories right? Going with a MoM makes the most sense for sure if prices are that bad.

Prices have really come down here, there is one product that works out to $4.20 a gram by the oz, and a couple that are $5. $7ish was the cheapest previously. There is still stuff that is $15+ though I think. Broken Coast is around that much but still seems to have some devotees who think that's worth it for weed. With one brand that used to be something like $20, Royal High, they had to drop the price to $4 something a gram just to get rid of the year-old stock nobody wanted at full price.

I wanted something different a month or two ago and started at the cheapest when I was looking. I found one called Grower's Choice which was like $20 an 1/8th or something like that. It was actually pretty decent compared to what you'd get on the street for that price. I would smoke it again

When I saw it, the first thing I thought was if anyone asks what visuals are like on psychedelics, I'd show them that.
It looks even better on 5 grams :super:

Awesome! Legal weed is totally the best. It was crazy that we had to risk our freedom  and probation to smoke some damn weed. I once even did jail time for having cannabis.

Now weed is legal, and guess what? No problems came from it. People aren't trading their homes for weed and crashing the economy. They aren't even crashing their cars.

I think it's time to legalize every drug now. And now I want bourbon and a bowl!

The concept of "legal weed" is great but I'm really not a fan at all of how so called "legalization" has happened here in Cali, and the way most states have done it is super lame. The plant still is not anywhere close to being "free" and "legal" to me . In some ways, things are even stricter now that legalization has happened compared to how it was when we had the medical cannabis program. Things were kinda better before legalization happened here.

Technically/legally I'm still not allowed to grow the plant outdoors (I do anyways).

I'm only allowed 6 plants (the plant isn't legal if I'm not allowed to grow as many of them as I want and where ever I want to on my property).

The taxes are outrageous.

If someone wants to start a business in the cannabis industry they have to have a ridiculous amount of money to pay for all of the permits and licenses and pay someone to help them "jump through the hoops" . It seems tremendously more expensive and difficult to start a small cannabis business than it is to start a brewery/distillery, or opening a bar, or starting a tobacco farm .

The quality of weed has gone down. Weed in stores is mediocre and super duper ridiculously over priced compared to the herb that was around when we just had the medical/black market in place. I mean dank is still out there for sure, but the overall quality of most of what's out there and in stores isn't impressive.

There is a lot of shady shit going on within the "legal" industry...Things like how tests are done and how testers can be paid off to change the test results.

I'm glad I can possess an ounce of herb and 7g of oil/extracts while outside of my home and I won't get a ticket (possession in Cali was only an infraction/ticket for years before it became "legal"), and I'm glad I can kinda sorta be allowed to grow the plants with out fear of being charged with cultivation/manufacturing (if I have the space indoors and the $$$$ to set up an indoor grow)....

....but I'm really not pleased or satisfied at all with the way the plant has been supposedly "legalized" . I'm hoping things change over the years and the plant becomes truly free/legal, but with the way it looks now the herb is only going to become more commercial/corporate over the years. I guess that's what happens in capitalism, but it does not need to be that way if the plant was truly legal/free . It should be as free/legal as tomato plants are.

The way the whole system is set up is for folks with big deep pockets...so they can fill their pockets even more.

All plants should be free/legal, not controlled/regulated. Nothing wrong with having a controlled/regulated market for folks that want to buy their herb from those sources/markets, but at the same time the plant should be free to grow anywhere on one's property and as many plants as a person wants to grow.

The whole concept of "legalization" is great...I do like how I can go into a store and get herb when ever I want, it is convenient...but there are many aspects about it that are lame and don't sit right with me at all.

(sry for the long ramble, didn't realize it was a long post lol, I kinda just kept on rambling away lol)

Kitty 1 got doused with water because she was being mean to kitty 2. I've had her for about 2.5 years and am slowly making her civilized but she still doesn't know how to chill with other cats.

Can't really blame her. I think her aggression is like little dog syndrome as she has no front claws and no frontline defense.

Still my other cat has never been the aggressor and never would be. She's extremely anticonfrontational. I'm certain she would just have to kick her ass a few times and she would learn but she won't do it. She only defends herself and avoids if she can.

So I have to be a mean cat momma.

Another reason why I don't want to adopt small humans.

The work phone pretty much stopped ringing and I started getting depressed so I decided to make money on my home by improving it. My roof literally has over 5 layers of shingles so it's all coming off and they it's going to be redone.Carried like 2000lbs of roof stuff into  and out of my truck and then up 30 stairs. I'll be looking ripped as fuck soon! PM for greazy roofer pics!

I did just get an appraisal done on my house and they say it's worth $400,000 more that I got it for. My hard work seems to be paying off.

Anybody heard or tried a board game called "HIVE." It's supposed to be chess like and fun. Instead of buying the game I decided to just remake it in my own way and just use their rules. I ordered wood hexagon pieces to draw and paint on. If any one wants a knock-off homemade boardgame then let me know and I will see if I can send you one if you like mine.

Sorry, I cut out most of what you said. I just wanted to say that I agree with just about all of it. The main thing I was saying happy about is that I can smoke without worrying about prison and I can even grow too! Not sure how many plants I can grow, but I do about 10 at different stages. I'm sure I'm over the limit but fuck it, Cali cops are too busy to worry about a couple plants in my yard.
