how the fuck is that shroom so big??? what strain is that? What techniques did you use that might have caused it to be so big? I'm trying to get mine big like that, but the biggest so far was 4 inches.

My friend has found that it if you place your setup near a window and barely crack the blinds so that sunlight can come through but not someone looking in. The natural sunlight helps them to develop large caps. Also using compost or wheatstraw (if you want to go that route) will increase the size. This pic here was of an A strain grown on plain wheatstraw.

Funny you should point that out bluehoney. The above shrooms grew in my room where VERY little sun light comes in. The sunlight that does come in is through a few pinholes in the tin foil I use to block out that evil sun. Excuse me, I'm nocturnal. The sun is coming up, and it's my bed time.

Whoa that is one MONSTER mushroom. My god. It dosen't even look fully mature yet. If the inside of the stem looks OK and not all black and stinky (blue is OK) then eat it on the spot. How much did that one weigh?

Shit. Don't boost his ego, he thrives off of that. He loves to make everyone feel less than him. He was probably molested as a child and can't come to terms with himself so he has to be malicious to the people here (who, by the way, would not attack him without cause).
