Wheatstraw pasteurization question

My friends wheatstraw accidently got up to 190 F or so when he was pasteurizing it....is the straw doomed or can he use it?

I think it should be ok but don't take my word for it. At least you know there aren't any contams

Throw it in a plastic bag & seal with rubber band. Let is set about 2 , maybe 3 days & see how it smells & if any bacterial bloom sets in. If it smells good & no bloom sets in, your good to go (at least should be). SixTango
