I remember being a kid and loving parades because some of the floats had people who would be throwing handfuls of candy at you.  You should get in on a parade WM and avoid the candy police. A watermelon float would be pretty cool

Started my new job as a counselor at a psychiatric group home today. Seems pretty chill so far, was told one of the clients used to like stabbing people and another liked trying to stab people but has bad accuracy so wasnt good at it. Gotta take a self defense class soon but the clients are fun to talk to

Well, Oregon's new law for 2020 has totally fucked my day over.

Was going to get a payday-loan, like I usually do, tried to get one, but a new law states that I cant if I already have one outstanding (which I do from last year).

I was going to see Star Wars in 3D IMAX and Benny Benassi Today :sad:

You were going to take out a loan to see a fucking movie? Not to sound harsh dude but with that attitude you’re going to be poor your entire life.

Well, its the last weekend for this 3D IMAX movie, so its now or never.

I was going to buy other things as well, like food and a new long-range gaming router (current router is 8 years old).

Yeah I agree.  I've done them before, but thankfully I was able to pay it off right away.  For those who don't know what a payday loan is, let's say you borrow $300.  They'll charge you $100 on top of that just to borrow the $300.  Each payday they'll automatically debit the $100 if you don't pay anything else on top of it.

In other words, if you don't pay the whole thing back right away you'll end up paying like $1,000+ for a loan of $300.

If they charged that much interest, I wouldn't get them. Luckily the interest for a $300 loan (seems to be the max) is under $40.
