i'm sure the toothpick could have been soaked in some sort of amphetamine or something of that sort.
shit, think about it. the size of one hit of acid is tiny. a toothpick is bigger and is wood to boot. i'm sure in the right circumstances, you could get quite a bit of something to saturate the wood.

but then again, who knows what kind of amps were/weren't around back then?

OHHHHHH yes, they are most certainly legit. I was given a free 5 toothpicks when I picked up a few strips around 1 A.M., and he said I should break them in half and chew on them for 5 minutes. So naturally, I proceeded to drive home and chew on them bitches while I'm getting there. It took about 45 minutes to really hit me, and all I have to say is I went to bed at 9 A.M. :smile:

It was soaked in bell drops. And old cattle hauler trick. Bell drops are a medication for horses used to combat fatigue after races or in transport. Also helps fight colic. But soak a toothpick in it and have a human chew it, it doesn't just fight fatigue, it eliminates it lol
