I've heard that white lighter thing way too many times.  It gets really annoying.  I've had to explain to people that my lighter is off white, and therefore safe. :rolleyes:

I remember hearing someone comment on another off-white lighter, saying how it is a "wolf in sheep's clothing"

It's easier to forget about these superstitions when you realize that what you are doing may be punishable, and that you need to accept that risk.

but I always hear that mdma makes holes in your brain, lsd stays in your spine forever, shit like that.  'Golden Flake' mushrooms, lol :lol:  Also i've heard stories of people putting roach spray on their weed.  LOL, why the fuck would they do that?  and who would buy it?  :lol:  Also, people still believe that opiate based e tabs are still everywhere when in fact they are quite rare.

some of you are going off on some medical rumors and whatnot. Im really interested in actual superstitions, having to do with bad luck, or good luck.

I'm guessing that it's because white lighters are easily visible. IF you're out smoking in public somewhere, and a cop comes by, he might not notice a hastily-concealed black or clear or whatever lighter, while a white one would be more obvious.

Hell if I know, though.

Actually, hallucinogens CAN cause flashbacks, a condition called "Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder" (HPPD) .



I think that flashbacks are somewhat different from HPPD. I've had 'flashbacks' of a sort, when all of a sudden my mind slips into that ecstatic state that I get when I'm on hallucinogens. It's nothing radical, and it doesn't last long, and happens maybe once ever few months, and is usually entirely welcome when it happens. Actually, every time it's happened, I've been in bed, getting ready to sleep.

I forgot, the stems arent going to make you have a bad trip. I have ate them everytime.. If your going to have a bad trip. It would be caused by something else im sure.

if you believe that stems will make you have a bad trip, and then you eat them, you quite possibly will have a bad trip because of the placebo effect or whatever.


My friend and I always swing our arms like we are jerking off with a lighter before lighting a bowl. Its usually 3 good yanks like 6 inches away from our chest and pivoted out like 2 feet if that makes any sense. Its kinda like golfing and having that pracise swing. or something

I never heard the white lighter, but i always take off child guards and the stickers on the back of bics. Always. I won't use one that isn't modded my way.

I fast for at least 6 hours before i eat mushrooms.

i alwyas take off the child lock thing on bic's too. I will use them if they are on and i don't care really but if it's mine i always take it off.

DUDE!!!! i do that too, thats just fucked.  i always think its gonna make it light better, usually im already stoned when i think it but i swear it works :wink:

Me and my friends, however, ALWAYS pass to the right.  unless there is three people, sit in a lin and make DAMN SURE YOU SIT IN THE MIDDLE!  that my friend is GOOD luck!
