I believe that would be grafting tape? I heard it's very similar to parafilm. Someone posted a thread asking if they could use it in place of parafilm. I would try to find the thread but I'm very tired. Think im just gonna try to sleep away my insomnia lol.

You're right, and it's parafilm. Interesting.

I wonder why we even fuck with parafilm with a backing on it, is it necessary? I mean I recommend people give clingwrap a shot anyways but, if you wanted to stick to parafilm this seems way easier :cookiemonster:

Edit..I've purchased the same stuff off of Amazon. It's not parafilm. Not even close. That stuff is just fancy cling wrap.

May as well just get clingwrap then I guess. It kinda looked like parafilm in the photo but one of the reviews is a dude angry about how it doesn't stick properly to his petri dishes so probably better off avoiding it :shrug:

My jars of pans are going slow after shaking so I'm starting a bunch more using lc instead of a2g. Jars are cooling now. Sitting here watching this Redboy form pins and rolling a :gethigh:

I'm still awake, PC time is basically over but, I haven't done a cycle of 4 presealed bags in the presto yet without a slow cool down, so I don't wanna risk it and chance them expanding too much or something...gonna be another hour :facepalm3:

Lol well its parafilm brand anyways if it works good that's all that matters. What's the price of it like. I wonder if it is even any difference beside color from the parafilm M lab tape.

The price is right I think here we pay around 25usd for a single roll of the lab tape Im thinking it used to be even more than that.

It seems pricey, but that damn roll seems to last forever. I did more than 3 cases of
plates with my first roll. Maybe 4. I don't quite remember.

eBay has double wide M parafilm for like $30 for 120m or so.

yeah I started using plastic wrap 1 month ago I don't think I will ever go back to parafilm...its such a hassle

plastic wrap is soooo nice to use if you've been fucking with parafilm and pulling that backing off and cutting every 2 inch strip in 2 and whatever else, you will probably love the easiness and cheapness of plastic wrap

I mostly took it easy all day. Gonna process the last of my oats in the morning, maybe make some millet masters, noc up my 800ml LC broths, and resist the urge to shake some jars.
