You'd think... I'm leaning towards the other constituents to have cumulative effects... I can tell the difference between RW, PE6, and APE ... All 3 times I've eaten APE it's been loopy... SPEEDY too... Not my bag

I think the damn nazis is why they left. Or my best guess. I also googled this and found other mushroom forums that people flock to and that is usually the reason from what ive been seeing. I personally am considering it too cause everyone is fucking gone anyway

Or maybe the hack, or maybe both are related somehow. I dont know. But yeah shroomery pics end up on google, and its pretty much in the news now too relating to this fascist shit (although the current article already pointed this out, not by name, but its pretty clear the article covered neo-nazis that 99% likely were part of this board and planned a shooting)

in the case of PE/PEU/APE they grow totally differently (speed, spores, pretty much everything about the fruiting and harvesting) and many, many people will tell you they feel different. Even people who dont know what PE is and just compare to other shroom trips. With most classic cubes, youd be right, but with the Penises, theres prolly enough experience via many many many different trips to say theyre likely somehow different

Yup. Read the article posted most recently in the headlines (on the front page). But like. Its mostly indoctrinated 20yo type trolls it seems, but yes theyre plugged into some nazi mindfuck i dunno

But this one guy was planning a shooting. Read the story

Anyway, i dont mean to rattle you guys, i assumed everyone had already seen it

i actually misunderstood a few things, but what did bother me was the "psychedelic nazi" thing and that the shrooms That in all likelihood they learned from this site.

Its because the haters usually dont even care to actually grow shrooms as much as talk about bullshit on those pub threads and whatever. Thats why theyre not doing Midnight Myc, but just surfing the news and subtly hiding.

So, ive been away from mycology for a few months. This summer i had a moth infestation. I see one or two now sometimes but nothing like in the summer (used some type of poison eventually to stop them)

Im replacing my rye (might get oats) and i had a whole 40 lb or so ready lol. And also gotta get started with some fresh plates. But time to start some cultures. Got some LGT i wanna use, either that or 9th gen RW (i have others but those are the ones i wanna work with)

Would you guys say oats work pretty much the same as rye? Ive tried rye and wbs

Seen shaper  (I think) using a catchy (she called it?)
.. seemed to eradicated fruit flies anyway

I've not done rye,  and  Lotkid says FUCK OATS... it's(oats) what I run for bulk spawn, using millet for PPM's

I'll say IME,  WBS is MUCH more forgiving in excess moisture... oats need well hydrated internally, and nearly bone dry on the outside... even dryer for bags, and I'm undercooking them more and more trying to get them dry enough to run in the steamer a 100lbs at a time

I LOVE Rye and i compared side by side with wbs and rye was faster and just a little better in most ways.

I have not tried oats. The problem with rye is that i dunno where to find it in bulk local (im in a city), so the shipping fees are high.

So like 25lb can cost me $70 worst case scenario, ive gotten better shipping deals but its not cheap.
But maybe ill just go for Millet.

I have MEA mix and LC mix as well as plenty of gladware, so either tonight or tom ill be doing some midnight inoculations

Prolly gonna do the RW and LGT side by side. Or theres also Moby Dick, i dunno, just want some lucy's lol

Winter wheat it nice.  I prep mine like oats but i do 5 minutesish less cahse it cooks faster. Also add alittle more water cause it swells alot more than oats do

at this point ive used them all. Its a good skill to be able to prep em all cause around here anygiven day your grain of choice could be out of stock and might not get in for weeks.  Milo is nice but is best mixed with other grains
