half the meat you eat isn't what you think it is

Sure, there was the horse meat scandal in the UK a few years back. Minced beef was like 100% horse in some places.

We don't eat dog or cat, well I don't know why.  Perhaps because they have a different level of existing with us.  They seem to know a lot about us as well.

In Asia they eat dog.  I think it's cruel.

Just depends on the culture and how it's viewed growing up.

Like here in the states, eating horse would be close to as unthinkable as eating a dog or a cat

But in Mexico, Switzerland, and Germany, among others, they do.

Also certain religions don't eat pork (Muslims, Orthodox Jews) or beef (Hindus).

Wait let's go back to the turning fat people into oil.

I've been watching this documentary on a place what was considered the world's most storied/legendary restaurant, a place called El Bulli in Spain, and the head chef supposedly was one of the first (actually they seem to allude to him being the first) to take pure ham fat, melt it down and then use it as a cooking oil

By the way I'm not endorsing taking overweight human beings and turning them into cooking oil. I'm just saying.

Eating meat is bad enough.  But cannabalism, spreads dieases.  There's some nasty bugs in the human nervous system.  Spinal fluid is very dirty.

But if your ship wrecked go for back meat.  That is if there's no coconuts and you are too dumb to fish.

What is bad about eating meat - the natural human diet?

I saw a statistic where something like 65% to 70% of all animal species on earth will eat other animals

Very, very few animal species will ever eat their own kind (although yes it does happen

I used to think chicken was boring and meh before I grew up and learned how to cook

I want to say swine are so anatomically similar to us that parts of their organs are used in transplants and heart surgery. And scientists are looking into using whole organs in the near future.

Considering the physical similarities and both of us living on slop for generations I could see that we probably would taste similar.
