I haven't. I really wanted to have the entire process be an outdoor thing. But I can live with that. It crosses my mind to use coir because in my experience its extremely hard to get contaminates. For 20 pounds of manure would you suggest 4 pints, or more like 4 quarts? Thanks so much for the reply, bouncing ideas back and forth really helps me step outside of my though process and analyze new ideas.

Have you ever used agave nectar for LC? If not, do you see any reason it wouldn't work?

that seems like an awful little.

i spawn 5 quarts to one hydrated brick of coco and two quarts vermiculite.

youd have to figure out how many quarts are in a pound and then you can figure out the ratio of how much spawn youll need.

i dont see why agave nectar wouldnt work but ive never used it personally. i have used something called king syrup which is like an off brand karo light corn syrup and that has worked well for me in the past.  i would try agave nectar if you have it already at the standard 4% syrup to water

Already pressure cooked it for 30 min, let it cool to room temp and inoculated :smile: what I'll do is make as much substrate as I have the supplies for. And just match that with manure, meaning I dont have to use all the manure.

If I have any more questions down the road, I'll ask it here. But I got things from here, I appreciate all your help bud!
