Dryness and Stench of Store Bought Compost?

#1243469 - 01/23/03 02:42 PM (23 years, 8 months ago)

How dry is the store bought compost? Will it need to be dried more? If pastuerized will it smell as badly as natural shite? What are some good brand names for manure?

In my experience store bought compost sucks, and it smells worse than plain dried dung. Haven't tried Scotts 3 in 1 though.
