The Colibree Company distributes Pure Agave Nectar, a 100% organic fructose sweetener from the Agave plant.
http://www.agavenectar.com/product.html

Nekutli Agave Nectar will not crystallize. (sounds good)
The amber grade is much like honey (looks good)

Total Carbohydrates % 99.32-99.96
D-Fructose 67.2-69.7
Dextrose (Glucose) 26.5-28.8
Maltose 1.28-1.45
Maltodextrose 1.05-1.22
Tetramaltose 0.60-0.73

Dispersability in Water: Excellent (feels good)

Microbiology:
Total Aerobic Plate Count <200 CFU/g
Yeast and Mold Count <15 CFU/g
Total Coliform Count 0 in 1 gram
Staphylococcus aureus 0 in 1 gram
Bacillus cereus <15 CFU/g
Salmonella 0 in 25 grams
(don't know about that shit.. seemed important.)

Its fructose so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Is it cost effictave? Did you find it cheaper than honey some place?

There is a lot threads going on about LC additives so do an experiment. Maybe it's just what the mycologist ordered.
