Re: What was the Russia collusion special whatever Mueller BS about? [Re: Brian Jones] * 1

The DoJ wasn’t going to file charges even if a crime was found if I’m not mistaken?

Edit,

Special counsel Robert Mueller, in his first public comments on his two-year investigation surrounding President Trump and his campaign, said Wednesday that his office did not charge Trump with a crime because it “was not an option”

If you were to read the whole report you’d find that they did have sufficient evidence to indicate he told many people to impede the investigation but they didn’t follow his orders. Furthermore in the legal framework  Mueller presented the President could never have been found guilty but he could’ve been found innocent. In the report it clearly states that they cannot prove his innocence which would be easy if he didn’t do anything. Also it specifically states that once he isn’t President he will be eligible to be held accountable for what they found. One of the big reasons they couldn’t find him guilty is something called fairness concerns, meaning as president if they found him guilty it would arguably mean nothing because it’s a conflict of interest politically.

The investigation itself found out the Cohen is a criminal, Paul manafort is a criminal, the Russians DID act to influence our election and 20 Russians were indicted for it. So if you don’t like bringing criminals to justice or showing Russia that we just won’t let election meddling slide just say so.

Do these same people take issue with the UK and Qatar doing it to a much larger extent?

Thats the part that doesnt make sense. Mueller says you cant indict a sitting president. But what if direct evidence was found that the president broke the law? How can the President be completely immune to legal jurisdiction? Like why even conduct an investigation if you cant even make charges afterwords?

How is offering opinions on the US election considered meddling?  Using that same logic, CNN, Fox, MSNBC and every form of media is also meddling in the election.

How about Trump doing a political rally, isn't that also meddling?

It's up to the Attorney General or Congress to deal with crimes by a US President.

I see makes sense.

So the FBI only collects evidence on Trumo, they cant actually convict him of anything as that job ia reserved for those two individuals/groups :strokebeard:

Logic I have 2 things to add here. It baffles me too really

So firstly this
But he said that "it would be unfair to potentially accuse somebody of a crime when there can be no court resolution of the actual charge."

This statement by Mueller says to me that he couldn’t bring up a charge because there’s no court resolution that can be made so he absolutely won’t bring any charges because it’s pointless so why do it?

Then this
“The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intents present difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred,” Mueller wrote. “Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

They can’t conclusively determine if a criminal conduct occurred? Well let’s see if you won’t charge someone with a crime because that’s not an option and you can’t say he didn’t what the fuck is the point of you? You are useless basically

Mueller says himself on qmans link that he never intended to bring any charges against the president @6 minutes to 6:30

What was that investigation about exactly?

Special council just said he wouldn’t charge the president with a crime because that’s not an option. So how would that work since the DOJ won’t indict a sitting president. You are following along?

Is Nancy Pelosi or AOC going to charge the president? How does this work :strokebeard:

There would have been impeachment articles introduced in the House.  Then a trial will take place in the Senate.

The whole point was the democrats were butt hurt because Trump won.

I would agree if special council had been able to charge the president with a crime, which it wasn’t. So how can congress bring up a charge when one wasn’t allowed under DOJ policies?

haha! I can't believe these people thought Mueller was going to charge Trump with a crime. :laugh2:

I guess it is good that this administration has shined a light on how our government works for people that never paid attention previously.

The special prosecutor makes the case.  Then a Trial via impeachment happens.  That is how it is suppose to work.

In the meantime, we have a bunch of fools in the House have the 'evidence' found by the prosecutor.  There might have been not even a predicate of a crime for the investigation to happen.

And there is an investigation into the begins of the Trump investigation.

So we now have a bunch of Democratic Fools dancing around the floor of the House saying 'they know there was a crime about Trump' leading by the Head Fool Jarrod Nadler.

It’s because the charges wouldn’t be able to be considered unbiased and specifically mueller points out that it’s fairness concerns that make it so he can’t railroad a president even if they found damning evidence. Also another reason why they weren’t going to be able to charge him is because really this is a report that goes to congress to put the impeachment ball in there court while preserving the evidence in case they want to prosecute him after he leaves office.

Yeah makes more sense now. The FBI was just collecting info, looking for a link between Russia and Trump winning the election. Its up to the other branches to make a desicion about if laws were broken or not.

How can they congress make a decision if a crime was committed if the lead special agent in charge wouldn’t say if a crime was or wasn’t committed, and never intended to begin with to level charges against the president?

It doesn’t make any sense
