Had a nice trip out to Kuitpo this morning. A lot less fungi around than I'm used to, there were still plenty of edibles to pick but only a handful of ripe subs, some pins around though so it'll definitely be worth returning.

Yeh i put the ones that dont have the obvious blue on some paper think they went blackish hue but still have blue around rims of cap there like that from blunt stanley knife lost my siscors half way hiking just trying to figure out to post id thread

nah, because low worked perfectly fine time before without something covering the hole through the middle; only happened since the hole was covered. Anyway they all dried very blue instead of mostly golden.

Hi everyone
finally got a new camera so can share some pics from a hike today in the northern hills, my camera is a Nikon b500 pretty much a point and shoot camera with 40x zoom if anyone has any tips on using it i would appreciate it.
and if anyone knows how i can donate to get unlimited space would be handy, i clicked the link and it said temporarily unavailable.
these were in the northern hills enjoy.

The bluing is oxidization. They will have lost potency to some extent. Just eat moooaar :cookiemonster:

Welp, today was my first afternoon out where I didn't find a single sub, checking out more areas new to me down south. The habitat looks promising and I hope it just hasn't been cold enough for a flush yet but I there's a chance it's been picked clean.

Picked up a dehydrator today for my edibles. Hopefully I'll need it for subs sometime. One rack is loaded with A. muscaria :regularshroom:!

absolutely the sexiest shroom of all seekeroftruth even when they are pins fortunately for me i have half a dozen spots in my back pocket that are loaded with fresh pins between now and mid last week so i expect some nice hunting this week in the north hills.
im in gum so not far to travel neither :mushroom2:
that beeing said all northen patches have only really started to pop the last few weeks
