Maybe I don't understand the question.
I see no problem rotating it 90 degrees.
I can't imagine what could go wrong... On the filter It doesn't say this end up. There's probably an arrow showing the air flow direction..

Looking at your filter it is the same way. Fins going vert not horizontal. So thanks for the sig pic :lol:

Just some good advice:
When handling a flow hood to move It, Never I mean never touch the filter.
You can damage one so quick like what happen to me when someone was helping me move mine.

The pleats are always supposed to be vertical on the HEPA. Pretty sure it has to do with sagging that can happen (on bigger filters probably) which can cause the filter material to rub on the metal separators.
