flowhood/hepa filter?????

my good buddy is in need of a flowhood/ hepa filter for doing sterile work (innoculating jars, prints, casings, etc)
any suggestions? he was thinking about buying the flowhood in the fungi perfecti catalog for $450....
but it seems alot of people have great sucess with alot cheaper systems..
feedback appreciated

There is a ton of detailed info on building your own flow hood. Do a search here and you should find lots of info. I would post a link but I'm going to bed. It doesn't look too hard and the parts are easy to obtain. Check into it if you want to save some $$$.

You should paste the link to the FP flowhood.
I built my own for about $80. with a hepa and UV light.
