This question was asked after detailing the history of left-wing political parties that, similar to what we currently see in Denmark, were willing to compromise on their original ideals in order to gain or hold onto elected positions. Macron and LaRem in France, and Tsipras and SYRIZA in Greece are two strong examples of such left-wing political parties in the EU and their inevitable slide into neo-liberal policy.

I assure you, any frustration you read in my response is projected by you. I actually enjoy tearing apart everything you post; the tiny amount of effort required is small beans in comparison. It's like a dynamic crossword puzzle.

Expect me to show up in every thread you post in this forum. Expect that every half-baked political thought you diarrhea all over this forum will be hammered unrelentingly by me. Expect me to keep it up until you start posting with substance, or you stop posting out of embarrassment.

And I can do it without resorting to personal attacks; and I can do it without posting off-topic. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only one of us who has resorted to ad hominem arguments has been you.

Close, but not quite.

I don't believe XUL posts on this forum in good faith, and so to put all my hope and efforts into trying to convince him of the shortcomings of his political ideology would be an exercise in futility; assuming he had ever put forth a coherent political ideology in the first place instead of the intellectually shallow posts we're usually given by him.

I don't care about changing XUL's mind, but I do care that his bad faith posting often derails actual constructive conversations on this forum, and so in response to this I am making an effort to reveal the true lack of substance his posts offer by providing good faith criticism to his threads and allowing his inability/refusal to provide any answers make the case for me - and if this effort results in a coherent critique of political ideology/policy that I disagree with, well fucken two birds one stone.

Plus I just enjoy breaking down weak arguments, and XUL's prolific posting provides a near endless stream of them.

Then I'll wash my hands and spend the rest of my time online providing an anarchist perspective on the various topics that grace this forum.

I see you only just registered on the shroomery so it's likely you haven't seen our history, but trust me when I say that I do not dismiss XUL's ideas out of hand - there is ample supporting evidence behind my conclusion.

Of course, I don't expect you to take my word for it - stick around and you can draw your own conclusions based off what you observe.

I’d love it if we could discuss ideas but usually threads here consist of a premise, followed by 10 pages of “actually black people aren’t genetically inferior,” or “actually joe biden isn’t a far left socialist.”

Which is why I said the population will get security, Europeans, and everything they voted for.

What does that post mean to you?

The lack of an answer is an answer in itself because the only reasons (I can think of) for why you would refuse to directly answer questions related to a thread topic you created (and therefore wish to discuss) is because you don't have the answer or you know that answering honestly would look even worse than no answer at all.

That's an accurate description of the situation, not a subtle personal attack.

I feel like you don't understand that simply saying "I disagree," is not a magic phrase in these types of discussions. If you can't provide some coherent reasoning for why you disagree, than you haven't made an argument.

Do you have any reasons for why you believe that Denmark will be different from other left-wing political parties of the EU that adopted similar compromising policy?

It's not necessarily true just because you write it.


Where you erroneously see snarkiness, obsession, and melting, everyone else sees a thorough dismantling of everything you call an argument or answer.  Regulars would feel embarrassment on your behalf if your posts demonstrated any semblance of awareness or being desirous of anything close to good faith discussion.
