I don't know what the outcome of such behaviors are, but in my conversations with God this is what I am asked to do. I just have faith it leads to something positive for everyone and everything.

As much as I think it should be a right of all living creatures to request and receive eternal blackness should they desire it, I feel that such an outcome is much less likely than the possibility of having another conscious experience after this one. I pray that we all have good ones, and that somehow, with the passing of time and positive efforts by all to better the experience of life, for all, there are less and less bad ones, even down to 0.

I think you misunderstood. Life is everywhere, and will always be until the eventual death of the universe, but consciousness for this thing we call ourselves is limited. Even if parts of it are reborn into another creature, it will have no memory and hardly any connection to out past selves, so in that sense, it ends, even if it is revived elsewhere at another time in another form.

I honestly wish I could believe in a god, which is one of the reasons I like mushrooms, I feel a presence watching over me, if not protecting at least observing me. But I find this difficult to justify in day to day life, all the pollution, suffering and death that surrounds us in a daily way alienates me from the notion that there is a god, and if there is, I don't feel particularly inclined to worship one that  allows this to happen.
