What does your nickname mean?

What does your nickname mean?

Here is the significance of mine:

daba
Back in high school I was horrible at foreign languages. I took a short multiple choice quiz in Spanish class and just answered "D A B A" without even looking at the questions (I had a C-/D+ in that class anyway, so I really didn't care too much about a 10 point quiz). Well, I got 100% on that quiz, and plus "daba" is easy to say and write. So I kept it.

I cordially invite you to share the significance behind your names.

i didnt take to much time thinking about it when i made it. i actually remember seeing a film about prehistoric sea monsters right before and i think that had something to do with it.

My friends call me Bisquit. I got it in high school. I use to call people a bisquit as in insult. "You fucking bisquit" , "Hey come here bisquit". Then when everyone someone did something stupid everyone would call them Bisquit instead of their real name. So one day we were at a party and it was this stripper girl my friends wanted me to try to hook up with, to cut to the point I bitched out. So I became Bisquit and it stuck with me all these years.
Wish I would run into that girl now :crazy2:

"THE BOSS"

Picked it up from a gas station mechanic, "hey BOSS this and Hey BOSS that" when i was younger. I guess it rubbed off on me because i still cant help but call everyone BOSS. When it comes down to it we're all are own BOSS, i kinda like that idea too.

TODAY is the only thing that is. Right now is the only thing that is. It fits well i think.

i was going to use the name MR. BOBALINK because i made up the name for this strange character while in my early days of mushroom fascination but i already picked the name "TODAY".

I sing in a punk band called "The Filthy Socks" and thats basically why my nick is filthysock... I was also thinking about calling our debut cd (if that day would ever come) "Clean Souls, Filthy Socks" because punks are amongst the purest people I've ever known but they dress filthy cause they dont give a fuck... it fits the shroomery nick cause shrooms cleanse your soul... at least I believe so.

Niamh is an Irish name that I liked and Nyx is the Greek Goddess of night. As far as I remember Niamh means "bright".... so bright goddess of the night is the meaning.

I was hanging out with some friends and my buddy said that we all hung out together so often we were starting to be to much alike ... he paused looked at me and said well except you ... Your our "sped" friend ... So after having a good laugh, they all started calling me speddy :smile2: ... and that's that ...

That's just my newest nick ... I was known as Duplex for a good 8 years before that, so some still call me that. An old friend said I was to big to be called house and to small to call condo. So he started calling me Duplex. An for gaming, online or console, I'm known as Valhallan hence my Email OffToValhalla ... tada there you have it ...

Mine is an album by the band Incubus, their first actually. I'm not into the newer stuff, just Fungus Amongus and SCIENCE. It's best described in the liner notes as a mixture of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mr. Bungle, and Primus.. all of which were great bands in my opinion.
