What are the stories/meanings behind the choice of username you guys picked?

The story behind my username is simple. Me and my friends made a video one day of us just goofin off and chillin out, one of my friend took the camera on the skateboard with him, and busted ass, dropped the camera, but the tape still lived, however, so did the camera !!!! after he did so, he persisted to say "what the fuck was i thinking god i'm so sorry i hope the things not broken FUCK FUCK FUCK IM SUCH A DUMBFUCKING FUCKSHITHEAD MORON" or something along the lines of it... we were totally sober at the time, however it gets interesting when, that upcoming weekend I gave him some mushies for his b-day and he dosed at about 7.5g, for the first trip... I told him to eat an eighth, he didn't control himself, although I don't know, he's the only one who really does... I'm sure it was a level 4 trip... we showed him the video on my big screen TV, he started to get realllll interested in it, then he zoned out and wouldn't respond to anyone, we pushed him touched him, threw water on him, and he didn't respond, did nothing, at all. he was involved in it like one of those 3d video games at the mall, he started making swooshing and swishing noises, then we it got to the part when he fell off/over on the skateboard... my friend snapped out of his trance ran upstairs (his pants fell off, making it funnier, and he had a fight with his pants basically and hurled them aside) then about 15 minutes later he walked back downstairs, fairly casually, (i think due to the bob marley playing in my 'trip room' that he ran into, but all the trippy shit was turned off, it was just black with radio) so anyway, he casually walked up to us and said "ouch..i tripped"...to this day we don't know if he was reffering to the pants issue, or in the movie he saw... and i don't think he does either =P

Many years ago, when I created this screenname, I was deeply interested in astrology. My sign is Cancer. The color associated with my sign is silver. Therefore, as a cancer, I have a silver soul. 7 is just my lucky number.

Mines a character from everquest..lol KC asked me this same thing while i was on 2 candies, and i think i went i dunno because at the time well i was'nt thinking the best. So KC if you read this, there really was a reason for it lol.

My username comes from my fascination with a well known theoretical principle. The bling is actually rather the anti-thesis of my entire being, because not only do I not drive a nice car, I don't drive at all anymore- I ride a raliegh bike (expensive, but no bling involved), and I've got exactly no jewlerly (save for my potseed necklaces and assorted unwearable hemp). And this seemed right to me to become something different for my online name- if I was toally honest, I should have named myself hermitsavagenomeathatesbush or something more representative of my being- but instead- superblingtheory. Nice story, OuchITripped!

Locus: is a latin word that means place or spot (if I remember correctly :smirk:)

Stefan is just my real name, how boring is that for a story :tongue2:
I think Anno and me are the only ones that use our real names as screen namens.

mine comes from a native american tribe in brazil who comitted a mass suicide in protest because the europeans were coming over and taking their land and beliefs away and setting up a government there. to me it marks a turning point for this side of the world that I live on.

not to mention it's an awesome song by the metal band "sepultura"  :laugh:

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I was in a gas station on night on a way to a "rave" so I was all dressed up and whatnot. I had on platform shoes so instead of my normal 6'3" I was about 6'7" and I was wearing a black kangol hat that was all furry. So the lady working there is looking at this tall skinny raver with a silly hat on and says to me

"you look like abe lincoln on his way to a disco"

hence the name discoabe
