Unexplainable first trip, mushrooms are the king of psychedelics

I took my first mushroom dose last night at about 7pm. I will do my best to describe the insanity. I weighed out 35 grams of fresh mushrooms. Set and setting was good and i had experiance with lsd to this point. I started to feel the come up after about 20 minutes. The next hour was hell and borderline a "bad trip." I literally and figuratively got raped by the mushrooms. I had a very difficult experiance and felt as though i died. I got so uncomfortable i thought to myself, i could litterally die right now and Id be perfectly content and i prayed to "god" to ask for guidance and direction.  About that moment i completely let go and accepted the intensity of the coming trip.

I was afraid to close my eyes at first, i saw nothing but fractals and melting kaleidoscopes of colors. It was an alien landscape of flowing waterfalls of color.

At this point a large alien Mantis with a feminim energy moved close to me. It was communicating with me in some alien way. It seemed sexual in a way, comical in a way. I dont remember a lot from this point but i felt as though the fungus was communicating to me in the form of a mushroom. A large white mushroom entered my consciousness and i was able to focus on the mushroom. Behind it was still an alien planet landscape. I saw unbelievable technologies that i cant even explain and felt as though i became a fearless warrior. I had to use the bathroom so i told my mantis and mushroom friends that i would be right back. I came back and everything still all right there as soon as i closed my eyes. I felt as though i was connected to every human that came before me and saw mushrooms the size of trees.

Still trying to make any sense of last night. Mushrooms took me way deeper than LSD ever had. While both are powerful psychedelics; Mushrooms are far more visual and unpredictable. That was quite the ride

People who say that LSD is more intense are definitely scared of mushrooms :lol:

One more thing i remembered was a telescopic eye kept watching me. Was a wild trip. Today I've fely exceptionally positive and relaxed

So you say that you had open eyes visuals and were afraid to close eyes. Maybe people are afraid to close eyes because closed eyes visuals are usually stronger than those that they see with opened eyes. I have also had closed eyes visuals usually stronger than opened eyes visuals. But one time i had opposite way that i saw with opened eyes a lot of visuals and things but when i closed my eyes then they disaapeared and were replaced with boring weak visuals. When i hold my eyes open then i saw a portal in my room's ceiling. That portal was moving and was like from sci-fi movie and when i concentrated more to it then i felt like i dive into it. That was very strong visual picture with opened eyes. But when i closed eyes from time to time at that trip then the tunnel disappeared and were replaced with boring flowing pictures so i kept my eyes most of the time open to enjoy that amazing tunnel.
So, seems like sometimes visuals are stronger when eyes opened than closed, at least for some people.
I think if people don't like what the trip shows you then yes you can escape from it by either switching to closed eyes mode on vice versa.

I think it had more to do with letting go. They were stronger hallucenations with closed eyes. Closing my eyes took me to an alien planet. The open eye visuals were strong but i was still in my room.

Was this possibly an ego death experiance? Need some insight from experianced trippers. Pretty sure i had ego death once from taking a 10-strip of acid. I had no idea i was even human. I know my ego certaintly crumbled apart from this trip as i entered another world. Looking in the mirror was very strange, i looked very foreign

I try really hard to avoid mirrors with LSD and mushrooms. Ordinary otherwise enjoyable or tolerable spacial  distortions seem ugly or sinister when viewed in a mirror. :sad:
