...and not a place to ask question about general ideas surrounding tripping/mushrooms or advice you need on a particular trip / setting / idea. POST ONLY TRIP TIPS and/or TRIP TIP related ideas in the forum and NOT GENERAL QUESTIONS. I am speaking to the mod about enforcing this greater!

Yea, I know that THIS post isn't a trip tip but it is related to the forum in that you newbies need to post in the right forums.

howdy phrozen... i used to move a thread every other day. but i found that most new threads are trip tips that have already been previously discussed. i don't want to enforce the forum policy so strictly that there will be no traffic here. it must be a balance. however, i will make a conscious effort to start weeding out the very off-topic posts again. thanks for the concern~

let me add that as far as advice on a particular trip or an upcoming experience, this forum has housed these types of threads for quite some time and no one has complained. would you rather we move these to General Questions?

I broke this down into two parts. Questions regarding an upcoming trip ie. "Is it safe to..." are more General Question. However, Questions regarding ideas / suggestions on a upcoming trip ie. "Would it be a good idea to..." are Trip Tips. Anything that regards to making a trip better is a trip tip imho. Sorry, it's probably a lot more confusing how I worded it than it is in my head.

I just had another thought: maybe the forum is better suited for both...

...but there are still some threads that need to be moved if posted. I'm talking about the recent ones asking questions like "How Often Do You Trip" and "Are B+ Good?". Next time I will just notify the moderators of these posts and keep quite about it. Then again, maybe its a good idea that I did this ?
