What substrate are you using?

If you are using brf,you dont need to use anything other than aluminum foil to cover the jars.

If you are using wbs or other grains you need to use tyvek and coffee filters-why tyvek?to keep the moisture "in" the jars!

Why would you want to use anything else?Just to experiment?Thats all fine and dandy and I wish you the best-but if you follow the teks to the letter you will have more success than "Making do with what you have at hand".Pillow cases are not in the teks for a reason.They dont work with great success.
