Spanish Caravan and Riders on the Storm are absoulutley crazy under the "influence".

Definetly. Try listening to The Ghost Song, it'll make all sorts of sense when translated by psilocybin, not nearly as much when not though. :wink:

One time my friends and I decided to go with just commercials during our trip, so we muted the television and passed the controller around, being sure to change the channel whenever a "program" came back on in order to be subjected to pure marketing.

We also turned on the radio and kept changing to just commercials on that too, so we had radio commercials playing to television commercials - it was a psychedelic product production of preposterous proportions.

anyway the reason I posted this was because some of the music in some of these commercials was fucking grand :laugh:

Also, try turning on the radio and changing the station every second - after a few minutes/cycles, you can recognize certain channels when they go by again, and many synchronicities are experienced... interesting shit

i think all music is great on shrooms...  i stay away from coldplay tho cuz its very depressing...

anything else is great...  The Wallflowers were the top choice last night  :laugh:

Used to be Bowie, The whole Diamond Dogs album when I was a kid. I liked T Rex - Mambo Sun too and fer sure The Doors, The End and Wintertime Love, Unknown Soldier, yea, and anything sixties with lots of guitar, you know what I mean, if I had reincarnated all throughout history I think I still would have been wanting to be born in the 60s just for the hippie era of music. Alot of todays music is creamy icing without any cake holding it up. I recommend MIchael Garrison's 'In the Region of Sunreturn' LP.

Tiamat - Wildhoney is a nice album that no-one ever seems to have appreciated. The final three tracks are the perfect ending for any trip.

All time though, my favourite remains Any Color You Like by Pink Floyd.

Pink Floyd's entire "Wish You Were Here" is awesome, my all time favorite trip cd. Any Jimi Hendrix, I like the songs Third Rock From The Sun and Axis Bold As Love in particular. I love The Melvins, Electrotard and The Maggot are good starters. Nirvana's Nevermind is a great tripping album, suddenly it is clearly about high dose trips. The Queens of The Stone Age's first album, self titled, is a great guiding tripping album ("who are you girl, who are you boy, bet I know what your up to, can I come along.." starting the album..). Sleep is nuts. My Bloody Valentine is good.
The best music is that which you make yourself.
