let me first say that i am very disapointed to see incubus mentioned only one time and very incorectly, morning view was released in 02, thier new album is titled "A crow left of the murder" and both are not anyhting you want to listen to whilst tripping, i would suggest(once again) pink floyd, any pink floyd, and older incubus, fungus amoungus is a good one(imagine that) also try "enjoy incubus" and s.c.i.e.n.ce., if you like to think you HAVE to listen to "Make Yourself" (includes drive, stellar, make yourself, almost every popular incubus song) any incubus is um, stellar, to listen to whilst tripping though i wouldnt personally recomend their new album for that purpose.

Basically anything by Shpongle is guaranteed to go well with drugs, but Devine Moments of Truth and Star Shpongled Banner are a few of my favs. As well, if you are into the ambient type, Brian Eno's Ambient 4: On Land is really good background music while trippy (albeit a bit on the strange and creepy side)

I listened to A Crow Left Of The Murder on a bad trip and listening to that CD shifted it to an enjoyable one. Remember opinions are like Genitalia everyone has them..!

Turn on some Kind Crimson, my friend. Listen to 'Epitaph' and '21st Century Schizoid Man'. "Confusion! Confusion will be my epitaph." Also one of the most trippiest songs I've heard was by Funkadelic called Maggot Brain. Try that song, it'll blow your mind. That and go back to some Pink Floyd. Listen to 'Arnold Layne', especially the keyboard in that song...:D

I kind of like aggressive music when I'm tripping just because it seems to heighten my experience a bit.
Some of the stuff I listen to when I'm tripping
Black Flag - Slip It In (This song is my most favorite song to trip on just because it's so crazy and sexual and the bass line is awesome)
Refused - New Noise (Good for wanting to tear things up and I love the movement in the song and it's speed and how it's intense. Wonderful band too)
Pink Floyd - One of my turns (I love this track just because it's so dangerous)
Tech Nine - (I like this artist a lot, he's one of my favorite rappers but I admit his stuff isn't really good to trip on. However this one song is "it", especially if you have any sort of sub-woofers on your system. I got a fifteen in my car and on shrooms or weed all you can do is just let this song grab you)
Deftones - Knife Party, Be Quiet and Drive
Smashing Pumpkins -
Ministry - Bad Blood (fucking crazy dude, brings me into intense visuals and by the end of the song I have so much adrenaline burning in my system)
Murder City Devils - Press Gang (Great song even when you're not tripping. The organ and chrous in the backgrounds though are so vibrant and colorful when you're tripping though. I didn't even notice the chorus until I listened to this song really high on weed).
The Who - I've had enough (Pretty decent song to listen to near the end of your trip. It's nice kind of rock oprea-ish track.)
The Clockwork Orange Sound Track - (Jesus Christ if you want to flip out on something while you're in a trip, this is the CD for you. My favorite track it the first one. The track where in the movie you're introduced to the characters in the milk bar)
The Pixies - Where is my mind ( )
Jimi Hendrix is amazing when you're fucked up. Castles made of sand is my personal favorite
I better stop or else I'll be here all night.

any sound tribe sector 9, ween, primus, an old monster magnet e.p. called 'tab25'. i don't really dig any of their other shit, but this album is like in my top 20 lsd albums!!umm... infected mushrooms, karsh kale, ugly cassanova, modest mouse, particle, disco biscuits, wsp. there is also a song on mountain tracks vol. 2 disc 2 by yonder mountain string band- it's them covering 'good bye blue skies' by floyd. single mic style, very good!

Sneaker Pimps - Underground
Portishead's good actually, and you can't really go wrong with Radiohead, especially if you're on K. Trance seems to go well with shrooms though. I believe it depends on what kind of mood you want to be in. Depends on the setting, surroundings etc.

Whoever recommended King Crimson and Jimi's 1983 is my hero today. Three hours driving around in the woods last night tripping on ten grams of cyans listening to that music... very fun, very fun

Amazing. I wrote this on another threads:

Deepman said: Probably one of the best options would by Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland, one of the psychedelic rock masterpieces.
(specially 1983, a 15 minutes suite of pure trippyness, whithout a doubt the best 3D-4D sound to date in pure stereo)
Of course, The dark side of the moon, probably THE album to hear for some trippy musical phylosophy.
Quote:
Deepman said: -1983 - Moon turn the tides
Without any doubt, the best 3d-4d sound ever recorded on plain stereo. Just thinking about hearing that song in 1971 give me the chills. Some of the trippiest sounds, such as walrus and crazy waves hide a profound message, an utopia of getting away from the sounds of a world which is too busy fighting to hear a message of love and understanding. And so we shall swim into the sea for ever, and get away from those who are "out of style"
Interesting to note how some people think alike (But I'm spanish, so I know less english to explain myself )
