So sad to take a couple year break from the Shroomery and come back to find that even here, where there has always been a right leaning percentage of members, you people worship this conman like you wish he was your daddy or something.

Read transcripts of him speaking.  Read hours worth.  The dude clearly has speech difficulty, he sounds like he's in the early stages of dementia.

Go back and watch an interview or something from like thirty years ago and see how he used to be able to form complete sentences. Concise paragraphs. He maintained a line of thought for more than five words at a time.

Luckily for those of us with empathy, that wall is never gonna be built. Trumps presidency is almost over and no other person elected will ever have the intellect and decision making skills as our current leader. Which is to say they will actually have some.

And lets say I'm wrong, and Trump gets reelected. Still no wall. This whole issue is just him appealing to the lowest common denominator. He knows no swing vote is coming his way since he's a walking catastrophe. So he's gotta play to that base. Threaten to go after his political enemies because he's been exonorated by a report no one can read. 

If I were accused of crimes and my attorney told me there was 380 pages in a report clearing me entirely I'd release it in book form.

But no. Not Trump. I mean, even though he said he wanted the entire thing released, now he doesn't.


Suppose it took a couple weeks of Pence reading it to him at hamburger time before he realized it makes him look really bad.


I'm not that old. 36.  But the people who support this president seem like they're in some trance. He's clearly not fit to run an ice cream shop, but you all say "he's the greatest president ever".

Do you really mean that or is that just "sticking it to the libs".

Because despite the MAGA dream of an all white, all rich America, Trump is fucking his supporters just as hard if not harder than everyone else. He's practically destroyed agriculture in the plains with his tariffs, promising the farmers bail out money that never materialized. Now many of those same farmers have lost everything to flooding which he seems to not even mention. 

Party politics aside, fuck with peoples money and assets enough and they will vote for someone else, even a "libtard". 

In the years to come there will be entire bookshelves filled with books examining how so many seeming intelligent people would follow such an obvious buffoon without question. Hell, even Hitler had to take power by force and enforce order with violence.
